How is Ed in and Laura out. What is wrong with the voting this year. Seriously. Too many good dancers are going out. Laura was amazing had my favourite this year. I'm truly sadden to see her go. She was better than Ore in the dances off so she should have stayed. I blame the judges for voting her out. Same thing happened to Jamelia last year when she was in the dance off with Peter. The judges saved him when he made mistakes and Jamelia danced a lot better. How is Ed still in and Laura out? Even my friend agrees and she doesn't watch it. Come on people need to vote for the dancing. I voted three times for Laura. So sad to see her go. Definitely the biggest shock ever

Pixie says hi.

But seriously, it is unfair that Laura has gone and the likes of Ed are still here. She had much more to give, I felt.

GBP voting for the loser.

If he's not gone by the end of Blackpool weekend we're in trouble...

Pretty simple Ed got more votes. Noting unfair about it.

I'm really sad to see her and Gio go.

Daisy is your other favourite? Have I remembered right? I hope she can go on for a lot more weeks. She seemed soooo pleased not to be in the DO this week. Aljaž too. My favourite reaction from the saved couples.

The voting is always difficult about this time in the competition. Strange results get thrown up by the ties and by people seeking to 'protect' people at the bottom.

I agree.

Laura went because people did not like her dancing enough to vote for her and the judges preferred Ore because he is the better dancer.

I like Laura and I would have liked her to stay longer but Ed is improving and fun to watch imo. People obviously like Ed and voted for him so he had every right to still be there and I for one can't wait for his gangnam style salsa.

No offence but how can your friend say that when she doesn't watch the show

This DO of Ore and Laura is nothing like the Jamelia - Peter DO. Ore danced better than Laura tonight in the DO and was rightly kept. And Ed wasn't in the DO as he is entertaining the audience on a regular basis.

Personally I was more entertained by Ed and felt he was improving more than some of the others, that's why I gave him one of my votes yesterday.

I'd probably prefer to see Greg and Daisy go than him at the moment. As with every year though, when there's annoyed clamour around one dancer and if they stay much longer it'll make a mockery of the show etc. I suspect he has a shelf life and it's probably around Blackpool.

Seriously have you never watched this programme before...

I can only speak for myself but Ed and Judge Rinder are making this Strictly for me. Both have shown improvement, both are thoroughly enjoying the experience and I love watching them.

True, they aren't the best dancers, but for me it isn't only who is the best dancer, it's who has shown the most improvement starting from the bottom trying to reach the top.

There's no doubt Danny for example is a fabulous dancer, but he more or less started at the top with basically nowhere to go from there.

So, although many will disagree with me, as is their right, Ed and The Judge for me

"Improving" is slightly misleading.

He's not quite as terrible in some of his ballroom routines as he was when he did his Paso for example...

But even his Quickstep, which was his best dance so far, was littered with errors and mistakes throughout.

We'll see if he can get those Salsa hips going next week...

Yes I'll be voting for lovely Daisy but I'll still support Laura too

Your friend agrees but, doesn't watch it, how silly is that!

I haven't yet voted but Ed and Rob are my favourites.

Ed started off clueless and has learned a lot.
Rob produced a really decent QS.

It was clear from Laura's last dance that she was favouring one leg as she walked away from the judges to take her position. People sometimes want to put the dancers out of their misery and she didn't look at all comfortable.

Public vote. I have no problem with it.

More people like Ed for whatever reason. This cannot be undone no matter how much people might wish it otherwise. I didn't mind Laura but Ed was better entertainment value and that's what counts in a light entertainment show.

Ed is improving massively and Laura was barely dancing at all. There were sections where all she did was step side side and flick her hair about. Not a samba step in sight.
That's why he is gaining voted and she is losing out.
I didn't vote for him, all my votes went to Daisy as I found her dance charming.
