Vis a vis Will you have no idea what's happening there because it's none of your business but seriously if it was to do the psychological I hope you never become depressed because it's pretty common. Indeed actually the suicide rate of young men is actually utter horrific and people like you probably who won't exactly be sympathetic to those who struggle with those sort of demons probably don't help.

Greg is not in the DO because enough people like what he's doing end of - the fact you don't is down to you. Far be it from me to spoil your fun and those of like minded bitter souls.”

I have suffered from depression which cost me two years of my life. So please... if Will had depression I guarantee he would not be signing up for Stricily.

As for your first paragraph about telling me to ..... "off". Says so much about you.

I respect people views on this forum. Since you're so concerned about my past comments you will see I actually supported Greg the first few weeks. I just think the show should get serious now and he is not upto par.

Plenty of people with depression have done Strictly.

Ok I apologise for being insulting but wouldn't that make you have some sympathy and realise that it can strike you down at any time.

The problem is not so much what you're saying it's the way you're saying it and there's an aggression there and to some of your other comments I don't care for. Sorry but that's the way it is. All I can judge by is what's out there.

And if the show should get serious and have 'good' dancers only shouldn't Ed go too or probably first.

I kinda of sympathetise as I think it's going to be painful to lose people from now on and I'm prepared to say that whoever does worse on the night ought to go from now on. No more excuses but I'm not assuming that will or won't be anyone in particular. I also thought that the two people who ended up the DO aside that everyone really upped their game on Saturday and that Ore and Laura everyone was great in their own way and Ore wasn't bad just not as good as we've come to expect.

You may find him boring, many of us like him and his dancing, surely that isn't too hard to understand.

I couldn't stand Will, and was delighted to see him go, others liked him, different strokes for different folks, simple as that.

I'm an mental health outpatient, doesn't mean I wouldn't be able to do something like Strictly. Yes it's sapping energy wise but exercise and a sense of purpose have been a salvation for so many people. It would explain if some of the rumours are true about him not getting to practice, some days just getting out of bed is enough. But it's not a one size fits all illness, some people can do things others can't. I've had very little time off work even if it's damn near killed me at times because I can find an iron will to continue. I appreciate not everyone can

I quite like Greg, but as the field dwindles, he's one of the remaining dancers I'd miss less.

PS: Why on earth has this thread become another dreary discussion about Will Young and a mental health condition that nobody actually knows he has and that he does not claim he has?

Greg.
Handsome? Yes.
Nice bloke? Yes.
Good dancer? No.

He has had NO dance training at all (unlike a certain Danny Mac or Louise Redknapp for example), he has improved over the weeks, he is obviously trying to learn and to be better, he is likeable, has a very good partnership with Natalie, and Natalie seems to be a very good teacher.

For that, he gets my vote each week.

Yes. Mental health issues? Not relevant here.

I thought it was odd that Greg's little boy was dressed in pink and had a pony tail.

Not that I wasn't to start any gender arguments at all... I just genuinely thought the little one was a girl.

Greg is doing alright, but he hit his plateau weeks ago.

After reading the replies in this thread, a lot of people are voting for him on everything or anything but his dancing.

I'm voting for him because I legit see somebody trying to learn to dance - not somebody who can dance and is showing off!

Well, if it is was just 'vote for the best celeb dancer' we could have given it to Danny on week one. Neither the people voting for Greg or the people voting for Laura were voting for the best dancer on Saturday, they were both voting for people they like - and quite right too. I like Greg's dancing and I think he's improving. I'm engaged in whether he can improve more or not. When I stop feeling that I'll stop voting for him. I'm still at the stage of voting for two or three people, not just one to win yet.

If everyone should just go out in order of who was the best technically, then the people who start off with no dance experience are just being included to be laughed at, to give the people with previous training an ego trip. The show is only fair if working hard, entertainment, bravery and improving are also valued as qualities worth voting for. I have no problem with the mix of people starting with different abilities, that's what I like, I just resent it when people who vote for the learners are sneered at.

He just seems average every week. Decent at Ballroom and car crash at latin which needs Natalie's tears to get him votes.”

Agree. He seems not to be firing on all cylinders, even with lack of training.

I have no problem with Greg still being in. I'm not a fan but each to their own and he's obviously very popular. The only thing I find perplexing is all the anti-Ed sentiment about him being the worst dancer left in, when in actual fact I'd say Greg is.

Nope, sorry, I have no words.

He's got the Olympic vote, he's probably the male version of Victoria Pendleton without the tears.

I keep waiting for a big improvement which sadly never comes, having said that he's getting the votes so must be doing something right.
