I think Courtney will win, he is getting the best edit so far. His existing business is also in products (novelty toys I think?) which LS prefers over agencies/services (although he did choose Mark's business over Bianca's tights proposal in series 10 so I guess this isn't always the case)

To date he is almost invisible . He has done almost nothing that matters. |

Karthik is suddenly quite engaging now he's toned down his egomania (which in itself shows he can listen to feedback) but more significantly in task terms, last week we saw him saying to each member of his sub-team, you're accountable for X, you're responsible for Y and so on. That small moment was some of the best project management we've seen this series which has too often swung pendulum-like between anarchy and unlistening dictatorship.

I will never understand people who say Courtney and Frances are clearly the finalists, because to date they've not been up to much other than Frances being strong at shopping for other people.
I mean don't get me wrong, they seem quietly competent, but I don't understand why everyone immediately assumes that instantly means they're finalist material. Anyway, for my money, I think the final 5 won't look too far off something like: - Grainne - Frances - Courtney - Karthick - Alana (she's being given a serious redemption/underdog arc, if she doesn't make the final 5 then she gets damn close) |

Courtney is a poser - and done nothing. So he will likely win. |

I agree with much of this and I also agree regarding Karthik - but a leopard can't change its spots ( it can actually but that's neither here nor there ! ) so not sure if he can keep it together to win.

i can see Grainne and Courtney definitely being in the final five. I'm not so sure about the other three, but I've slowly been warming up to the idea of Dillon being in the final five too, and maybe even Paul.
as for the last one, it's probably Karthik. he really has changed, and if he has a reasonable business plan, he really could make it. if not, then I'd say Frances instead. her already existing business is a good idea, and not something that's been seen before on the show, so I'd also say her. it also just occurred to me that if Rebecca and/or Frances end up in the losing team again this week, then they'll be tied with Elle from last year for having the most consecutive losses. |

My concern about Karthik is whether he has already alienated the other candidates in the first few tasks so they will not easily trust or cooperate with him when he needs it.
Well yes that may be so - at least one, Grainne, has already done just that and I think that she would sell her own mother down the river to get any advantage. |
