Don't know if this is the worst year ever. thought that last year had that honour pretty much sewed up permanently but this year runs it close (I'm not including series 1 - 'happy' Rowetta, walking sob story Verity, ...?) but the behaviour of the judges this year , Nicole and Sharon in particular makes the lack of talent even more evident. I'm not even going to mention standing ovations for Honey G (oops, I just did..).
Dermot really is the only thing holding this shambles together. Beggars belief that Simon thought Olly and Caroline could even come close. Even though, as others have said, he really seems to be going through the motions, his skill and professionalism saves the day.
