I read on BBC News that they're having a complete overhaul of the voting system following the backlash this year with the lack of black artists getting recognition.
So once again, The Brit Awards will be playing catch up as The Brit Awards 2017 just becomes a padded out Mercury Music Prize instead. **yawn** British Male: Craig David DAVID BOWIE Jack Garrett Michael Kiwanuka Skepta British Female: Anne-Marie Birdy EMELI SANDE Laura Mvula PJ Harvey British Group: Bastille Blossoms Radiohead THE 1975 Viola Beach British Breakthrough: Alessia Cara Blossoms DUA LIPA Jack Garrett Viola Beach British Single: Bastille - Good Grief Calum Scott - Dancing On My Own Calvin Harris feat. I can't predict as the Brits are utter tripe but I know who SHOULD win:
Best Group: The 1975 Best Album: I like it when you sleep - The 1975 Best Single: Somebody Else - The 1975 Best International Group: Twenty One Pilots Best International Female: Grimes The rest I could not give a hoot about. |

How on earth can Viola Beach be considered as credible nominees?

The Breakthrough nomination is slightly ghoulish, it's not as if there's ever going to be a follow up. |

Tbh, I based my nominations on ollymurslover13 and couldn't think any other British group to replace Viola Beach.
Bare in mind, this is The Brit Awards so don't be too surprised if Viola Beach did end up receiving a Best Breakthrough nomination. |

Kate Bush is most likely going to receive a few nominations for the new album. British female, album and maybe outstanding contribution if she's willing to perform live.

Catfish & The Bottlemen and Biffy Clyro both have had number one albums and massive tours worldwide. they may not get hit singles but who does these days but I agree the Brits will be all about The 1975, I could see them get 2 awards.
