How on earth can Viola Beach be considered as credible nominees?

Sympathy vote presumably.

The Breakthrough nomination is slightly ghoulish, it's not as if there's ever going to be a follow up.

Tbh, I based my nominations on ollymurslover13 and couldn't think any other British group to replace Viola Beach.

Bare in mind, this is The Brit Awards so don't be too surprised if Viola Beach did end up receiving a Best Breakthrough nomination.

Kate Bush is most likely going to receive a few nominations for the new album. British female, album and maybe outstanding contribution if she's willing to perform live.

It isn't really a new album. It's a live album of existing tracks.

Catfish & The Bottlemen and Biffy Clyro both have had number one albums and massive tours worldwide. they may not get hit singles but who does these days but I agree the Brits will be all about The 1975, I could see them get 2 awards.

Both these groups could be in with a shot of a couple of nominations. I think Little Mix and AlunaGeorge could also get a best group nomination. Maybe The Stone Roses?

Ugh. There latest album sounds like Placebo trying to write a soundtrack to an 80's John Hughes movie. Which is every bit as awful as it sounds.
