Could be a couple or three from the Xmas line up. frankie's always wanted to do the tour but got pregnant, Denise won't be busy until the summer with Athletics, Melvin as mentioned (still don't know who he is), even Pamela or Ainsley are possibles

Frankie did the tour this year.

If the lineup is as uninspired as the Christmas special, then I won't be going - haven't bothered the last few years.

Some of the pros are only starting their tours in the spring (Janette & Aljaz, Natalie, Kevin & Karen) so could potentially be available.

This time last year people started being announced for the tour anyone with news of those partisipating ??

I started a thread - few pages back now ! - re this - here's the link. Agree with you re Ed, sure he will do it, great publicity for him to go round the country.
I wasnt sure there would be too many others, but if you read the other thread, the general consensus was that there will be enough from the current celebs to make up the tour.

Steve Wright announced it on his R2 show a few minutes ago, I can't see anything on the website at the moment though,

A lot will depend on pros as well. I wouldn't be overly surprised if Aljaz and Janette aren't involved since they are on a rather long tour later in the year, so they'll probably be in rehearsals

Sounds good, I wonder who else? Ed and Judge Rinder possibly, And maybe Ore, and someone else.

Danny without Oti is toast without the butter

I wouldn't discount J&A going on the SCD tour as I reckon they could easily do both within the time frame. They'll have about 6/7 weeks for rehearsals for their own tour which is plenty of time (I think).
I'm only judging this on Vincent & Flavia's rehearsal period mind you as they usually have 6 weeks for a new show and that's with a whole story line to follow plus numerous routines between solos and group dances. I'm not entirely sure what J&A tour entails but I doubt it would be any more than what V&F do.

What makes you think Oti won't be there?

They don't normally announce the pro dancers for a while anyway, they don't seem to regard them as being a major selling point!

I've been to the last two tours but decided to give the next one a miss, its a good show but IMO there is so much filler and not enough dancing in it!

Isn't the Judge filming at the mo or will that finish in time for him to do the tour. If Ed wants to lose weight the tour would be great for that and he doesn't have a day job at the mo- maybe Katya isn't quite brave enough to risk the lifts every night

I agree with others that there shouldn't be any problem with Aljaz and Janette doing the tour as theirs doesn't start until April I think. TBH, if Aljaz couldn't do it I don't think they could've signed up Daisy as I can't think of any other pro who does the tour who would be tall enough for her - even Aljaz isn't really. I suppose they could get Ian in, but I don't know if he's doing his own thing?

I'm one of those people who would definitely want to see my favourite celeb dance with the same Pro they had on Strictly. Danny dancing without Oti would be like Jay without Aliona - unthinkable ! Rachel Stevens danced on the 2015 Tour with Kevin when Frankie couldn't and it just wasn't the same without Vincent.

Your reply SeasideLady is much more eloquent. My first thought was please God no! Second thought being I would be surprised if Danny did the tour without Oti (but it's possible!)
