In my opinion, like Neighbours, Home and Away needs to air the same as Australia. Not much chance with all these breaks. For HAA it was a perfect chance to try and catch up, Not sure why Channel Five dont have both in synch.

Agreed. Didn't Channel 5 continue to show Neighbours during the Australian break last Christmas purely to bring both countries into line with broadcasting?

It's never going to happen with H&A. H&A Australian schedule is too erratic. For the past few weeks Australia has been airing three episodes on a Thursday due to having to fulfill the quota set. Not to mention H&A doesn't air on Fridays anymore in Australia, it's a double Thursday bill usually. It's all because of sports rights and time zones.
