Because he got screwed and was just unceremoniously dumped without a chance to redeem himself in the DO because Anastasia couldn't do it.

I have no illusions that he would have gone far, but the poor man really did get screwed out of a chance through no fault of his own.

I was really underwhelmed when they announced that line-up, in past years they've had a few champions and genuine 'favourites' but that is a poor selection. Melvin stands out like a sore thumb - so obviously done it to make up for the way he was treated!

Well personally I am delighted to see Gethin return and even more delighted to see Frankie Bridge return.
She was my favourite dancer in series 12 so I am really pleased to see her back.

I'm pleased that Melvin is back. He deserves another go. I shall tune in.
