To be fair, she's not entirely to blame for her style. She's obviously been encouraged to be like that, hence the nauseating intro they use.
But you'd think she'd have a bit more self respect.
How can anyone take her seriously?

And for me. I find her too irritating on ITT and I find him harmless enough, but he'd try too hard to be humorous as a judge. My money's on Gary Edwards replacing Len. I hope so, anyway.

Karen is given too much time, imo, on ITT, and to be honest, she really makes everything about herself. As a dancer, she was bloody good, but as a dance critic, she does my head in. She's talks about how another pro has danced, then demonstrates again to show herself, not the point she's trying to make. Can't be done with that.

BIB Have to disagree with you there - I think she takes herself way too seriously and believes she is far funnier/interesting than she is.

I can remember, just, when she first did CC and I used to find her very informative and enjoyable to listen to.
Now it's turned into the KH show, very OTT.

Brilliant at what? Self promotion? Playing to the camera? Not understanding the salsa beat? Mangling the English language?

The list goes on and on.

Since I criticised her on Monday, I have to say she was far more informative in Choreography Corner on Tuesday.

Tuesday style Karen: Maybe, but can she stop herself reverting to Monday Karen?

Karen is fantastic, she comes across to me as passionate. I would be very happy is she replaced Len.

After watching tonights ITT Ian seems alot better at analysis than Karen, she is just too OTT for me.

She makes me cringe, with her face pulling and shouting. She thinks she is so great but to be honest I enjoyed her replacements so much more. Learnt more from them with out the antics. Please don't give her Len's job, I would prefer almost anyone else.
I put her in the same cringe catagory as the stupid vts that they show before the contestants dance.

KH is on my SCD can't watch won't watch list, she is there with the Ditzy Winkle person, Anton and Bruno, I really would have finished with my once favourite programe if I hadn't got sky+. I refuse to watch/listen to twaddle.

I really don't object to her. On ITT she plays the role required of her by TPTB. It's a frothy, lighthearted show, consciously over the top and not meant to be taken seriously. So I don't think she's to blame for giving them what they want - it's a pay cheque, after all.

If she replaced Len, I expect she'd present a different persona so, while I'm not exactly pro Karen, I'm not anti either and won't be marching on the studio with pitchfork in hand if she lands the job.

Karen would be no different, this time competing with the two men to be the centre of attention.
She won't get the job. It'll be another man.
The announcement won't be made until they start with the "programme's hype wind up" in late summer in 2017, to gain maximum media impact.
No point announcing it any earlier.
