Annabel, Kate, and Sami - three smoking hot 19-22 year old women who move onto the square looking to satisfy their insatiable and unquenchable lust for award winning soap forum members with hyphenated initials for a username.

I always thought the family of the local GP would be good. I've had this idea for years now: a middle-aged female doctor with her elderly mother, husband and two children, with two more off screen to introduce later. A sort of modern family where this couple don't actually share blood with all the children, they're products of previous relationships/marriages. Making the mum the doctor would immediately involve her in the community, and having the children as products of previous relationships means there's a lot of scope for stories. Plus, the elderly mother - I've always thought it'd be good to have a regular character with dementia (but I guess the show has that right now with Sylvie).

Another idea I had was a gay couple in their twenties who have been together since they were fourteen and have only ever been with each other. A really strong relationship, and a couple who are very secure and proud of their sexuality. I think sometimes in soaps they very much rely on the 'struggling to come out' story, which is absolutely fine because there are a lot of people out there struggling to come out, but sometimes I think wouldn't it be a better message to those people to see a secure and proud gay relationship on telly, showing there's absolutely nothing to be ashamed of? I just think that particular route hasn't been considered before in great detail. These two would arrive with a big story putting them right into the heart of the action, in a story that has nothing at all to do with their sexuality.

I like the idea of a GP with a family...they always seem to be loners. I know Yusef had a daughter but she was grown up by the time we saw her.
I'd like an elderly male gay couple. One that had to spend many years pretending they were brothers because of prejudice in the 60s and 70s. They are now enjoying the freedom denied them for decades.

Jamie Dornan and James Norton as two partners in The Firm move onto the square.

The characters are called Saul Spoctor and Tommy C. Rice.

The GP could be a daughter, granddaughter or niece of Dr Legg. Jewish (was Dr. Legg Jewish? Or is my memory failing) divorced and estranged from her cheating husband (similar to Surane Jones' Dr Foster) Could be one of the partners in the new GP surgery when the new set arrives.

Two teenage children. Another one or two away at Uni that could arrive at a later date.
Occasional appearance from Dr Legg (If the actor is still alive)

Buys Ronnie Mitchell's house.

One of the children at Uni could possibly have Aspergers. Or the son/daughter could have anorexia. Hard hitting storyline like Hannah in Hollyoaks. That was superbly done back in the day.

The ex husband could return to cause problems too as the mum is dating Max or Jack.

I think I would introduce a big family to the square. I would intoduce the dad of the family first and one of his daughters to set up there own business and gradually bring in the other children and grandparents. However, when it came to the mother, it could be revealed as Debbie Wilkins from the 1980's, who isn't too keen to be on the square again after all these years. Anyone like my idea?
