Considering there'll be excuses from Amber, Imogen, Mason and Bailey someone needs to turn up. Hopefully Pam will come see her son get married yet again.

Pam has appeared in guest capacity a few times in recent years, so it shouldn't be too difficult for the producers to tempt her back once more. The vast majority of Brad and Lauren's kids will be missing so the least they can do is make sure all their living parents are present, Pam, Kathy and Lou.

I really wanted Pam to have a problem with Lauren given that Brad's affair with Lauren ultimately led to the breakdown of his marriage to Beth and his estrangement for many years from Ned. Then history repeated itself and he cheated on Terese - his second wife and mother of his other kids - with Lauren once more.

Brad and Lauren got off far too lightly in my opinion. Nobody had a bad word to say about their affair and Terese was made out to be the unreasonable one for being upset that her husband cheated on her and left her for someone she considered to be a friend.

As with all Soaps its unlikely we will see most come back for the wedding but being fair, Neighbours is one of the better for ones for people actually making brief return stints for certain events/stories, not many actually do so whilst it is annoying that we will get excuses for Lauren's Children, her Brother and Brads surviving siblings at least we know they at least try I guess...

Ah well someone has to like her I suppose . She needs to come with subtitles for me and she has absolutely no redeeming features. Ned on the other hand does have a few pleasant bits to him even if he did look like he was about to dismember someone in Hostel style when wearing that dreadful apron in the pub.

It's definitely the wrong way round. I'd be more than happy for Ned to stay as long as he never shared a scene with the ghastly Elly ever again.

I'd like Gaby to return and they could easily bring back Adam as he made about no impression on the show during his brief appearance nobody remembers he exists - even, seemingly, his own brother.

There was a brilliant scene after Doug died between Sue Jones who plays Pam and Kate Kendall who plays Lauren. Amazing Acting from both Actresses especially Sue Jones.

Gabby and Adam could be recast - if they can recast Brad when he was much more well known then why not those two?

I wouldn't like to see Gaby recast. She was a main character a lot longer than Adam ever was. Plus it would be too weird if Pam returned with a recast Gaby as well as this Brad. Neither of whom she would've worked with when the family were regulars! Plus I'd like to see lots of Paul and Gaby scenes and it would be much more satisfying if they got Rachel Blakely back.

Adam made an impression on Caroline Alessi and Gemma Ramsay IIRC

I'm just watching today's episode and thought of this thread,as it was said,how Amber,Mason and Bailey can't attend their own mothers wedding!! Seriously. I know and appreciate that other soaps do this too but damn neighbours is SO useless at it..

If they would just move Lucas and Vanessa back to the street, I wouldn't care much about the rest.

Theres been a few surprise returns this week so maybe she will pop up.

Kathy said that baby Matilda was ill so Amber couldn't bring her - a classic soap excuse - the convenient last minute illness which is used all the time. She also said that Bailey and Mason chose not to attend because they were struggling with the fact their mother is re-marrying. Considering their dad only died last year I can understand why. It was good to finally see some opposition to Brad and Lauren's sickly relationship (even if it was a very brief mention of two off-screen characters), Terese has let them get off far too lightly IMO. The writers would have us believe their romance is like some fairytale -the fact it was actually an affair which hurt a lot of people is brushed under the carpet.
