All I've ever seen of this programme is the trailer. Which is supposed to entice you with the 'funny bit's' they show, but it looked terrible (to me, anyway) the first time round and this series looks horrific from the trailer! The cast's certainly grown!

I don't find modern comedy funny so it's not a surprise to me it doesn't appeal to me, but that trailer! Blimey. Horrendous!

Is it a new series? I loved the original one.

I could never get into it personally. Great cast. Just not great on the laughs.

Each to their own. We all have our personal humor.

The first few series were quite good but when some cast members left it went off the boil but this new series 1st episode I thought was quite good.

The first few series were indeed better than the latter ones; for me they've made a couple of series too many.

First episode of the new series was just OK...

Good lord they need to axe this!

It has been running for at least 3 too many series now. Watched the first episode of series 6 last night and didn't even raise a smile let alone laugh. The whole thing is so laboured. The remaining main cast look like they're phoning in their performances. I'm guessing they must earn a fairly decent amount to make sticking around this dead horse that's well past flogging stage worthwhile.

Dreadful stuff, why have all the characters got learning difficulties , lazy writing , make all the characters dumb and that is supposed to be funny , i found this the same as Rovers with Craig Cash , every character was written as if they were retarded , i don't understand why thats funny tbh

Makes you wonder how some of them actually still manage to work there.

I'd love to know the wage structure for shows like this, and how the actors are actually paid. Is it all at once, or over the period of filming?

The series with Stephanie Beacham in was really funny, but it's gone downhill since then.

I loved Trollied the first couple of series but some of the regular cast left and the show went down the pan.

Unlike most people, I disliked the series with Stephanie Beacham - I thought the way she bullied Julie (Jane Horrocks) wasn't funny, it was just cruel. The series with Richard France was awful and I wanted the show to end then.

Since then, though, the show's improved again. It's not laugh out loud like the first couple of series but it's consistently enjoyable. It's good that Sky are making original comedy, they could quite easily fill their schedules entirely with US sitcoms. Some of the shows they've made have been hit and miss but Trollied is still worth watching.

Sky tend to either flog a series forever or axe it after just one.

I know obviously a lot of it will be based on ratings. If the show isn't picking up enough of an audience then advertisers won't pay a premium for the slots so the show causes the broadcaster to lose money and it gets cancelled. But sometimes I am amazed at what they've axed over the years - "Parents" from 2012, OK, it wasn't a hugely original premise for a sitcom, but it was very well done and genuinely funny. The critics generally liked it too. Likewise "Starlings" - great cast, well made, and it gets axed after two series!

Trollied I think was probably good for 2 series. Once original cast members leave they tend to be replaced by inferior versions of similar characters.

I still reckon Hooten & The Lady will only be a 1 series job.

Stella.. that's been great for 5 series, as has Mount Pleasant on 6 series but I think its time to consider retiring them before they become stale.

There are funnier shows in The States that I'd prefer to see, that never even get an airing over here.

Its not funny but I've given up trying to figure why things happen, things in our society today are not meant to be understood, 15 million people tune in to watch someone beat an egg for entertainment, watch people from Essex read badly from a script about made up relationships and the Donald is the best man for the job and becomes President of the USA.

Loved the first 2 series which had Jane Horrocks in them, but it seemed to loose it from series 3 , I stopped watching, I watched the first episode of the new series and might watch the second, but if there is not a marked improvement I will probably stop watching again.

The new characters are awful, the Leighton replacement, Rufus Hound... Awful.

Neville and Colin on the butchers counter is ridiculous.

Even Margaret is getting on my nerves.

I can't see how Trollied is even worth a thread. Reckon there'll be a new show soon called Trolled (live on Facebook).

I watched the first 3 (I think) series and thought it was alright. I haven't seen it more recently though

Agree with all of this. Hate the Rufus Hound character, truly truly dreadful

Both Lisa and Colin and Neville and Colin are just tedious and I agree too about Margret, once a lovable character now just irritates.
