I don't remember that!

My favourite performance of Ruth's is the last one she performed on the show, 'Always'. She sang it better in her final performance after she found out she was leaving the competition than before in the main show IMO. Same as Niki in the series before with her final performance.

Never forget Ruth singing 'Always' after being eliminated. It was one of the best moments on TXF ever.

That performance was beautiful. When she sang "And I will love you baby, always..." you could tell by her eyes she meant the audience
The Purple Rain thing, she might have revealed that in an interview post show, I don't remember

it depends how many times they have both been in the final showdown doesn't it? was Ruth in it more than 3 times?

I didn't mean a competition of how many song offs. I meant more in terms of how they both absolutely NAIL it in the sing off and give blow away performances.
