He was a bit horrible but he was entertaining, I liked his war with Fatima.

IAC is only on for three weeks - so surely he'd only need about a month off?

Does a month off work really need a character to exit the show? There's plenty of characters that aren't on screen for weeks/months with no explanation/exit.

Probably not, I did originally think it was longer so my mistake But he's quite involved in storylines at the minute so they may need to use an excuse unless that story is put on hold for a few weeks?

Cotton was much more than a bit horrible, was as entertaining as a case of the trots, and he was a complete pr*ck towards Fatima Whitbread. She should have used him as a human javelin.

As for this series, hopefully Adam "Hot Adam" Thomas will not be as tetchy as Lucy "Chas" Pargeter was during her jungle stint.

Maybe Adam and Moira go to Scotland together for a while to stay with relatives, or to visit Hannah (where is she anyway?).”

I guess we'll just have to wait and see

It probably will be.
Normally the Christmas episodes are mostly about the Dingles so it's quite possible that they can get away with not explaining his absence.
