Goodman is on his way and long overdue, watching on Saturday does anything Tonioli say have any value at all anymore, gushing drivel with no relevance to what was seen.
Some pretty moderate performance last week, Ed Balls wasn't even the worst, even Craig seems to have given up swimming against the tide of drivel.

Airhead presenters the show can just about carry and those two are top level, when the judges descend to that standard in the end it will catch up, just as it has with Cow and his crap.

He has said he doesn't like the travelling between here and the US. Unless it is a ploy for more money, this might be his last season.

I think he has toned down the innuendo and personal abuse this year. Some of his comments have actually been on the money.

I like Bruno. He brings a bit of fun to the panel. It's best to have different personalities or the panel would seem pretty boring. I like all the judges including Arlene. It will be interesting to see who replaces Len. Too many changes sometimes spoil the show. I like Tess and Claudia too.

I agree, he does come out with the odd gem of advice every now and then.

Other than that, he became a parody of himself long ago...

He is irritating me immensely this season. His scoring is bizarre at times and his replies are always to a pattern ... starting off with an exaggerated sounding of the celeb's name, followed by some predictable comments with him standing up and waving his arms around. Change the record Bruno!

Some correctly made changes can improve the show for sure. Goodman going has to be positive and that can be added to, Forsyth has never been replaced with the jokes and that is certainly something that could be done replace Winkleman with a more talented, amusing presenter add to that Tonioli is reaaly now stealing a contract with his output and there is plenty of scope to spice up a very staid series next time. Without Ed Balls this is a dull bunch laced with some real big-heads.

He is too OTT. I only watch Craig and Len.

I think Bruno can be 'entertaining', but since Bruce left he is allowed to,get away with too much. I do genuinely wish Tess could stand up to him and tell him to grow up. I think Len is hacked off these days as he needs a hard hat and flack jacket to survive Bruno's flaying arms.

Reading this got me thinking and yes, Brucie used to keep him in line. He hasn't annoyed me too much this series but he hasn't been as nasty as he was last year. Last year I would have gladly seen the back of him as he crossed the line far too many times.

Someone pointed out that when Daisy was gutted about being in the DO for the second time it was Bruno who reassured her. I think he adds a bit sympathy for contestants in there - when they make mistakes he points them out but with a 'you made a mistake my darling what a shame' tone rather than being brutal about like Craig. He also adds a bit of colour to the judges comments. He has his faults - last night's blantant over-marking of Laura or more accurately Giovanni illustrated them to a tee but I'd rather he stayed it would be kinda of boring and harsher without him.

Hope that posting that gave you some satisfaction.

I sure didn't get any by reading the poorly argued tirade. *yawn*

I like Bruno. I think he raises some pertinent points and, as per the post above, adds some colour and is able to show some sympathy when someone makes a mistake.

What's with all the use of second names?

I'd prefer being named after a reindeer; quite seasonal!

Too bad so you are satisfied with Tonioli's performance in failing to give an honest opinion, maybe he doing as he is told. I think it is right questions need to be asked especially with Goodman's departure, which is 3 or 4 years too late.

It's a bit dangerous, though, the temptation out there... Already spotted Sock and Fruit. I'm sure there'll be dodgy ones, Groan, for example, though Blues comes off rather well

I love Bruno. Who else is going to force Tess to apologise for pre-watershed swears, nearly knock out whoever is next to him with wild arms and fall off his chair with such pizazz?

Of all the judges, he seems to be the one who enjoys it most. He's the judgey superfan and I find him rather loveable. His marking can be over-generous. His comments can be effusively generous. HE is generous. Big crime!!

Oh god I wish he would go. He drives me mad with his screeching and jumping all over the place.

Especially with the bunch of cynics around here. Is there anyone who hasn't been attacked yet? Just asking?
