Exactly. Not to mention his weekly attempts to take someone's eye out when he is demonstrating the correct way to perform hip thrusts.
He is genuinely barking bonkers and his marking can be inconsistent, but he often gives ( IMO ) honest, constructive criticism and as someone else said above, can be very warm and kind to contestants.
And he's a nice antidote to the miserable git he has to sit next to.

I don't love Bruno, but I don't hate him either. Sometimes he can be irritating then a few minutes later he can be really nice. Sometimes he can be a bit too scathing and other times give out good advice. I would be disappointed if he to were to leave. He is colourful and eccentric which can be entertaining, he is just a bit inconsistent (although he is not the only one).

Bruno is actually the most consistent of the judges when it comes to scoring. I've analysed the judges' scores over the years (haven't done it this year), and he's consistently been the most reliable of all the judges (in terms of not having conspicuous favorites).

I liked what he said to Laura and Daisy when they were in the dance off, he was kind and positive which they needed as they were nervous and disappointed.

Other times he's like a parody of himself and he needs to calm it down and just say what he wants to say, I don't know what he's on about half the time.

I don't think he should leave, Len leaving is going to shake up the panel enough. Keep him for at least 1 more series, see how the new person fits.

His 'histrionics' might be a bit annoying and over the top at times, but he is by far the
most consistent of all the judges and for that reason he stands out.

I like Bruno and have long admired his creative vocabulary in his second language. He can be so apposite when consructive but somewhat bitchy even if apposite. He seems to understands acutely the stories told by dance much kre so than others. He appreciates the odd and quirky as much, if not more than, Craig which led to him giving Ed an 8 for his cha cha cha.

So, I'd be sad to lose him.

I actually find all of the judges apart from Craig annoying AF. I mean Craig can be brutal but he's not an imbecile.

Bruno isn't an imbecile either.

Bruno is a very good judge . I too am a great admirer of his descriptive powers, he's far better then the other three . He is so aware and loves the little stories being told by each dance . I just wish he would drop the over exaggerated movements in his critique . I also find he can be too generous with his marks but he's never boring and I do hope he stays .

I like Len also and it would be a great loss if we lost both Len and Bruno .

Last year, I could have seen Bruno far enough but this series, I've noticed when the cameras are directed towards the judges' area, Bruno is the only one watching the dancers, even standing up to get a better look.
He's also the only judge to give a critique without notes written down.

Bruno is a lot brighter than some here give him credit for. For one thing, he is fluent in six languages. How many of us can claim that? I often find his clowning amusing (although I don't think Len does). When he does stop waving his arms about, however, he gives constructive and useful advice.

I won't miss Len when he goes. I went right off him when he overruled two of the others to dump Pixie out of the contest. Nothing he has said or done since has led me to change that opinion. I think he is very inconsistent, has obvious favourites and reacts very badly to having his observations questioned.

Bruno, on the other hand, is amiable. I would miss him if he went.

Bruno is very bright. His English is excellent. This was very apparent when Alisha on the panel. On other progs he always seems very bright, knowledgable and intelligent. All the judges are ok but all have their faults. Darcy is lovely but sometimes seems to stumble and falter through her comments.

Changing a show looses viewers, Ken is going, now look at X Factor, 16.6 million viewers in 2010 it's lost ten million if those! Now it isn't just one thing, but changes of judges, hosts etc have played a part.

Change = loosing viewers= killing a 10 million viewer show.

Bruno is fun, and enjoyable to watch.

I also do wonder how much the producers encourage them all to act up to their stereotypes, Craig seems to be becomming a caricature these days.

I think Bruno is a keeper. Of the four judges, he seems the most unscripted, natural and genuine in his critiques. With Len it's all about Len; he'll start with a bad pun, move on to a modicum of comment about the dance he's just seen, perhaps snarl at anyone with the temerity to disagree with him, and then finish with a 'Gertcha' or a 'You come out and performed it and that's what counts'. Hardly ever any variation to his schtick.

With Craig, you sometimes get an accurate critique but he can be wildly inconsistent and his pantomime baddie act prevents him from saying anything really useful. While Darcy always favours the male celebs and finishes almost every critique with 'All I'd say is....' before rattling on about core strength or whatever.

Thing is, with Bruno, you never really know where he's going to go with his comments and that's why I like him. Sure, he plays the fool and seems to get over-exvited but beneath the crazy froth there's a smart guy who does the celebs the courtesy of appraising their dances properly.

Bruno is the antidote to Craig and his metaphors are usually on point and far more varied than Darcey's.

I find all the ott posturing boring, when he calms down he can give some good critique.
