From series 1, Leslie and Anton can honestly say they were robbed that year because of Chris Parker, they were even better than Natasha and Brendan (IMO). I knew from that series on it was more a popularity contest than a 'competition' and if I recall there were no 'ringers' then unlike now.

Every episode from series 1 to last Saturday! Some recorded when I had a Saturday out. But I've seen every one.

Clare Sweeney was as much of a ringer as anyone

This is the first year - I have caught snippets before, but I made a point of watching this year because I'm a massive Will Young fan.

Ah well.

Are still enjoying the show in spite of the lack of Will and the bitching?

Since the beginning. I didn't watch much of Series 2 or 3, but have watched religiously since then. \My 8 year old daughter has watched along with me for the last 3 years.

I even watched the precursor of ITT on BBC 3 with Justin Lee Collins. Thank god they dumped him.”

Gosh Hamlet - I'd forgotten all about that, but I can recall now wasn't it more along the lines of Bake Off Extra Slice, where they had the audience sitting at tables and so on...?

More or less from Series 1 but been less interested in particular series.

Well they worked out the kinks and it became ITT, just remember JLC being dreadful, put it this was Claudia was an enormous improvement.

I watched the end of S2 (I saw it at my parents' house as my mother watched it). That's 2004!

I then watched S3 from the start, intrigued by the idea of seeing Darren Gough dance...

Looking at the lineup for that series, it was quite a poor standard actually! Gough, Colin Jackson and Zoe Ball made it through to the final, James Martin made it to the semi but was hardly brilliant

Missed the first series due to living abroad at the time.

Watched it from series 2 onwards but was not as avid a viewer as now - didn't mind if I missed an episode etc.

Missed all but the final of series 8, again due to being abroad. Caught up on some of the best moments of that series on YouTube, though, after my mum raved about it!

Series 9 was when I started to really get into it, haven't missed an episode since then I don't think and will always catch up if I'm out on a Saturday evening.

It's my mum's favourite show too so we often talk after the show and discuss our thoughts. She loves that I've become as big a fan as her!

I then got a shiny new tellybox of my own in time for the series 4 QF. Since then I've never missed a single episode. I complain about aspects of it from time to time but it's still one of only a handful of TV shows that are appointment television for me.”

Since Season One and the great Chris Parker debacle

I loved Lesley and Anton, they had a really beautiful partnership and danced some lovely routines.
Claire Sweeney was a total ringer in Season One though, there's been ringers every single competition.

Series 3

Gough, Colin Jackson, Zoe Ball.

That final was a really good one as well.

Watched from series 3, but not devotedly until Alesha's year which was when I fell in love with it and watched obsessively. Absolutely adored it. Now slightly concerned my love is faltering although I'm trying not to give up!
