As interesting that would be, I doubt it considering Viacom is involved. Also i have no problem with 1-2 reality stars because they do bring in a audience, but obviously 75% of them like the last few years was ridiculous.

Zero chance of that story being true.

Please, there is no way they can run that show without half of it filled with reality folks.

This contradicts the story that the same paper ran about Bear returning for a gold stars vs new stars series. Just a typical guessing game.

I doubt it. Viacom always use it to peddle EOTB and Geordie Shore. And a lot of the interesting US names are reality stars, so we'd end up left with a plethora of washed up soap stars.

The jungle will get away with it as it was originally seen as the reality show for the old has been .

There is no chance cbb could get away with that line up in the c5 era as the viewing figures would hit a new low

Jem Lucy, Aaron Chalmers and Bear will all most likely be in the house in January. The story is rubbish IMO.

I'm a Celebrity are apparently have Scarlett Moffat this year. And she's a 'reality star'.
So they haven't banned them either.

Do not believe it for a second, though perhaps they are 'cutting back', 1 or 2 UK 'reality stars' i do not mind, as long as they have had enough time in the public eye for people to actually know who they are, but when it gets to the point like the summer series then its just ridiculous.

I think shes been signed up because shes a radio host aswell. Its similar to Strictly signing up Mark Wright, they said he was a radio host, even though his claim to fame was a reality show.

Hell would freeze over before that happened! Reality nonentities are their bread & butter.

I doubt they could get a line up unless it included 6 reality 'stars'.

Mind you, while i'm dissing reality stars the US has just elected one as president.

Would love that to happen, but it's unlikely

Wouldn't go down too well with those people who just watch for the arguments, and we've all seen in this era what happens with housemates who get along too well

We'll still get the same format as we always do:

Loose Woman (Linda Robson)
TOWIE (Chloe Lewis)
I'm a Celebrity (Lady C)
Real Housewives (Misse Beqiri)

Ex on the Beach (Brandon Mayers)
Ibiza Weekender (Deano Baily)
X Factor (Bradley and Ottavio)
Geordie Shore (Aaron Chalmers)
Soap Star (Marc Anwar, Corrie)
Made in Chelsea (Oliver Proudlock)

These are just a few off of the top of my head (shows and potential housemates). After the summer, there's no going back with reality stars. I genuinely don't think there would be enough interest to fill the house. Either that or they leaked that "insider info" themselves to try and show the higher calibre of celebrity that they have learned from their mistakes?

Yep.. 100%

All of these will have appeared in the winter or the summer series.
