Last weekend was the ISTD finals held in Blackpool Wintergardens. Ian was there being filmed for a segment to be shown on ITT, possibly on 18th Nov., which should be interesting.

For anyone not in the know, the ISTD finals is an event for medallist dancers, not to be confused with the British Nationals which is also held at the Wintergardens in November.

Yes I posted about this on Sunday my brother bumped into him at the Winter Gardens - my brother was attending a dance event at the Tower (not ballroom and latin related) and decided to have a mooch round the Winter Gardens too the filming was for run up to Blackpool show should be interesting - was it the ISTD medalist finals ? we are mainly IDTA

We usually see some of the dancers at the Wintergardens over the course of the 3 days there ( Strictly show is at the Tower of course). Natalie was there last year and spend absolutely ages chatting to people and seemed delighted in posing next to them for photographs, Lovely lady.

Yes it was ISDT finals! I was competing there. Had a pretty bad one sadly (U35 category seems insanely hard if you didn't learn as a junior, both the social dance and pre bronze finals standard was INSANE) but there was a bit of a buzz about it being filmed for strictly which was nice. It seemed even busier than ever. Literally couldn't move for people where we were!
