No wonder Libby was upset, if I'd gone all that way to put myself through an evening with my mother, and all she could rustle up was a bit of horrible frozen quiche and a couple of lousy vegetables I'd be absolutely fuming.

I bet Bitter Drunken Denise nicked it off of the Minute Mart and all, reverting to form and that. "Have you done the stock check Bitter Denise?"... "Yeah don't worry Honey, it's all accounted for as long as you squint at the quiche lorraine count on the form."

Libby would do well to cross Denise off of her Christmas card list.

Thanks.

Denise probably knicked all the close to sell by date quiches from the reduced section and tossed them into her freezer so they'll lost longer! good old denise

Libby doesn't even deserve a frozen quiche, I get she wants her mother to pursue her education and thinks a baby might put a stop to that but she was rather judgemental and annoying with it.

I mean, if it was literally still frozen, sure? But if it's cooked through I don't see the problem. It's not like Libby gave much notice.

I think Libby should have cooked the quiche for her Mother.

Quiche (frozen or not) is too good for Libby.
