He won't be in the final but if he was - no I wouldn't vote for him.

Ed's beginning to surge ahead of the usual comedy pairings and surprising people. He's popular and last week bookies even slashed their odds as the idea of him in the Final is being talked about as a very real possibility. He deserves his place and I'd be thrilled if he made the final and would vote for him!

Yes. I think Ed & Katya are a great couple and there's only Claudia & AJ amongst the other couples who have really engaged me, although I like Danny, Louise & Ore. Thinking about it I like Rob Rinder, too.

Fact remains I like Ed better than any of them.

He will be in the d/o off at some point and the judges will vote him out. Nevertheless, I love Ed and if he gets in the final, especially with boring Louise and Danny, then yes, I will vote for him.

He won't get to the final. A couple more weeks then it should be dance off and goodbye time for Ed, if the judges continue to score him at the bottom of the leader board and we don't get tied leaderboards. I would not vote for him if he did somehow reach the final.

Depend's who he was in the final with, I can't see him making the final anyway even though I think he's great he'll probably leave Blackpool week.
My guess is that he will be out in the next week or two. But in a way he has already won.Nobody expected him to last beyond week one. He and katya have been bloody marvellous entertainment......it is churlish not to give the bloke credit, I have never voted for LABOUR in my life ......but I have voted for ed balls and will continue to do so until he's out!

I would like to say no

but I've said that a few times this series and I've actually voted for him twice

If it was him Louise and Claudia in the final I might vote for him but I hope I'd choose Claudia as she is really good, it's not her fault the music stops me from enjoying her dancing.

If he was the best, which is very unlikely yes I would. I tend to vote for the best dance each week rather than a favourite coup!e 😊

Once I've finished eating my hat I'll probably vote for JR or Greg whatever the mood or dancing takes me.

Meanwhile in the real life - if and it's not when it's an foot high IF then very probably no. An much more interesting and relevant question would be to ask people if they'd vote for JR in the final if he got there as it's far more likely to happen.

Imo it would be a disgrace and Imo again he should have been out in week1 and has not one redeeming feature and is nothing more than a joke act who if he had any self respect would walk.
Now that's just wrong! He was more entertaining than both Naga and Melvin even in his rock bottom weeks.

Why should he walk - he's enjoying himself and people enjoy him at least he's trying if we survived bloody Widdy he can survive him.

In the spirit of the House of Commons Hear Hear. I agree with much of this. The Radio Times has an article on the progress of STD contestents Craig gives him a D and gives Greg a higher mark than the judge which even I as a fully paid up member of the fan club (metaphorically) think is plain wrong where Ed talks about the friends he's made on the show and how encouraging everyone was although the people he names except for Louise have all gone. Even if he goes this week he's gone himself proud and defied exceptations.

Ed could do very well, but in recent years the final has been decided by the votes of Tweenies who cannot vote as usual as X-Factor has finished.

This is why the recent winners have been "fit" young hunks / boyband types or models or Presenters of X-factor spinoffs

Likliest winners of the Final are either Danny Mac, Daisy or Claudia.

I doubt he will reach the Final and if he does its unlikely I'd vote for him. But who knows if he keeps improving and entertaining us and he is against Daisy and Ore I can't rule it out totally. But I hope not.

He will get to the final and will be the worst dancer by a mile.

Will you still vote for him as the final is purely a popularity contest because the judges scores do not count ?
Yes ...

As others have said, it really depends on who else is there. If we're left with Danny and Louise, I'm voting Ed. In fact you could subsitute any name there. I never have sent a single vote to the dance school contestants. Not Jay. Not Jason. They don't need my vote and they're not getting it

Ok maybe I was strong but if you express an opnion you have to accept that not everyone agrees with it. You should be an Ed, Greg or JR supporter you get told you're wrong all the ruddy time when you're not being told you should be ashamed of yourself of course which happens a lot to Ed supporters.

I love how it's phrased like it'd be the end of days. Voting for Donald Trump to rule America would be a calamity. Voting for Ed Balls to win Strictly really wouldn't.

Couldn't agree more and that's why I'm here. Arguing with Trump supporters was making me lose both my will to live and faith in humanity, at least no here however much some people's views annoy me they won't cause any serious harm.

If a lower being offered me a deal that would make Trump disapear off the face of the earth in return for Ed Balls winning you know what - I'd accept without a second's hestitation.

The possiblity of him in office scares and depresses the crap out of me and sadly it's probably more likely to happen than Ed lifting the SCD gilterball. At least I can understand and sympathetise with why people might make the later happen.

I like the fact that he had never danced before and like Saturday he did a pretty good dance.

I enjoy watching him whether or not he will win is another thing...but lets not knock the guy he was invited on the show to dance and it seems the public are really enjoying him.

What a wonderful idea.

I've taken refuge in here, talking about something as inconsequential as ballroom dancing and a Saturday night fluffy TV show, as the thought of President Trump <full body shudder> is too terrifying to contemplate.
