If JR, Claudia, and Daisy are gone then maybe. I do like Ore though.

If Ed being around spurs on the other slebs to raise their game, how can anybody (eg us) be the loser?
Here is some reverse trick-cycling - if Ed were to go, the others then might get complacent. |

I love how it's phrased like it'd be the end of days. Voting for Donald Trump to rule America would be a calamity. Voting for Ed Balls to win Strictly really wouldn't.

And unfortunately ...............................................
![]() ![]() Oh that lower being to who take that deal I mentioned maybe I can find one that really hates dancing. Honest Ed can win the glitterball now it's that sort of year and in the great grand scheme of things it will be irrevelvant. |

The lunatics really do appear to be taking over the asylum of late, so who knows...
EB really could be lifting that glitterball. |

He's highly unlikely to reach the final (unlike others I won't talk in absolutes though, nothing is certain as last night hideously showed), but if he did then I wouldn't vote for him as he quite simply is not a good dancer, and as far as I'm concerned a good dancer to win. So the only possible reason for me voting for him would be if the only other option was Greg, which is also highly unlikely. Quote:
If he continues improving, and gets a few 9s for some nice Ballroom, I might.

I havn't voted for him yet. I have enjoyed a couple of his dances but not enough to move me to use one of my votes on him. IF he got to the final I really don't know, probably not but it would depend on so many other variables - who else was in the final and how well they perform/dance at the time. It's unlikely (but not totally impossible) that I would vote for him .

One more for the club "Depends On Who Will Be There".
If he's against the Louise and Ore, he'll probably get my vote. If Danny's there, then I'm not so sure solely because of Pushy Oti who I love <3. If Rinder gets to the final (unlikely) I'll probably be voting till my fingers bleed.

EB really could be lifting that glitterball. Do you sometimes feel like some marginalised group of sane people talking into the void? |

I cannot vote, but if I could I would be voting not only for a celeb but also for the dance partner. I am afraid that I admire Katya (and what she has managed to pull out of Ed) more than Ed himself. And if Ed were against Greg and Daisy I would vote for him I think... But first I need to survive his salsa.

I was soooo not a fan of Ed Balls as a politician, but I have really been enjoying his performances on SCD, and he comes across as a nice person on ITT.
If by some chance he did get to the final, then I would definitely vote for him to win! |

Depends on who he's up against and how well he danced on the night. In theory I can't imagine voting for him but that could change. I like him much more than I expected to and he's done really well without (completely) embarrassing himself. Dodgy lifts aside.

![]() And no, if Ed is in the Final, I won't be voting for him. Even though I like him.

He will get to the final and will be the worst dancer by a mile.
Will you still vote for him as the final is purely a popularity contest because the judges scores do not count ?

He won't. No way! It would be outrageous. Don't listen to what people say. It will be 3 out of Danny, Ore, Claudia or Louise although I'd like Daisy to be there. I would have wanted Laura too. It's a shame she's gone out

If Ed makes it to the final, I may well give him a vote, though I have to say Katya's no Alex Brooker.

Yes I certainly will if he continues to improve and dance well.
I think it is unfair to call him the joke contestant, he makes his dances into a performance. I enjoy watching him. |
