If Ed makes it to the final, I may well give him a vote, though I have to say Katya's no Alex Brooker.

Yes, a bit off topic but did many FMs see Ed on Last Leg last night?
Wow, how much weight has he lost now? On 19th October it was reported he had lost a stone, but it is surely more than that now. I thought he looked really good. Paunch just about gone, and his facial features much more defined. Maybe I should take up dancing .......................................... |

I didn't take much notice of him in politics, but have enjoyed seeing him and Katya dancing and on ITT and last night on The Last Leg. He has a friendly personality and the twinkliest eyes. Good luck to him in the competition, he certainly has his fans.

Definitely. I'm up for a Hollins-esque victory. Not the best dancer technically, but unquestionably entertaining.

I definitely would vote for him, although I doubt he'll get to the final - as soon as he's in a dance off the judges will boot him off. I get annoyed by people treating him just as a joke candidate, he's technically quite good and is getting better

I still think JR is more likely to do a Hollis this year. I'd be half tempted to put some money on him actually.
they are all seen as a threat to their favourite ringer, you see...

I can see the public keeping on putting Ed through until he is in the Final. He has that John Sergeant quality only he is a far better (and more willing) dancer who is really giving it his all.
Though I can't see him winning (think its Rinder's to lose), I would definately vote for him as he has entertained me no end. Could you imagine his Showdance?!!! ![]()

yeah just wondering IF ed goes soon, whether the next target for the 'he shouldn't be in, there are better dancers left' brigade will be JR...or greg...

If it gets to that point, I really hope Katya has great insurance cover. I love their partnership, but they're not joking when they talk about being risk-takers.

Unlikely
Certainly not based on his current form. |

I might even vote for Ed just to pay back TPTB for their ridiculous attempts at manipulation this, and in previous years.
Haven't voted this year (or any other year except last year) but it'd be worth it to see the smug smiles wiped off their faces (again - after last years failure to influence the voters failed miserably) |

You know, I was going to say he wasn't going to get into the final, but considering Brexit and Trump, I really should stop overestimating the voting public.
*SHRUG* And no, I won't vote for him if he makes it to the final. Hell, I'm not voting for him now. |

His Halloween dance is my favourite of this series so yes, if Katya choreographs some great dances and Ed dances his best, I may very well vote for him.
I would also very likely vote for JR. |

My guess is that he will be out in the next week or two. But in a way he has already won.Nobody expected him to last beyond week one. He and katya have been bloody marvellous entertainment......it is churlish not to give the bloke credit, I have never voted for LABOUR in my life ......but I have voted for ed balls and will continue to do so until he's out!

The judges will vote him off if he is in the last four. That is the stage at which they are finally able to get rid of an act that they don't want to carry through.
He is entertaining, but I couldn't actually watch him this week - although the lifts were great, and also his acting ability. He'd make a great Pantomime Dame.
