Just rings and vibrates.

I detest ringtones (although I did have the Knight Rider theme for a while some time ago)

It's obviously some sort of kudos-enhancing thing to have a 'cool' ringtone. Do you let your 'phone ring for a bit longer than you ought to in the pub (or youth club, or whatever)?
What really is the point of exotic ringtones, except to make money for the ringtone providers? Surely a sturdy 'Brrring, Brrring' would do the job just as well?

The problem with impersonal ringtones though is everyone grabs for their bag/pocket when a mobile goes off

They don't make any money out of me sending MIDIs to my phone
It's just a nice little way of personalising my phone - and knowing it's mine that's ringing :P

Most of the time it's in silent anyway...

The frogs and little birds are not 'good ones', they are evil.

I've got the 'I am god' speech from Malice now.

I have an MP3 of that song by the muppets that goes mna mna, doo doo doo doo doo, mna mna, do do do do, mna mna, do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do....

It used to make me laugh as a kid, so when I managed to find it via Google it was a hit as my ringtone.

Before that I had the pheonix nights tune in MP3 and before that I had the pink panther music, not the saxaphone one the one that they used to sing at the end of the cartoon when he got in to some sports car driven by some young kid.

To me my ringtones are recognisable as not many others seem to have the same ones as me and also they are tunes that I like, so it's a personal touch.

Ash - Orpheus as the ringtone, and some contacts assigned a variety of tones.

I have the theme for Curb your Enthusiasm on there too which I choose sometimes.
