We lost our cat

She had a lung infection and it caused her chest and lungs to fill up with fluid. My girlfriend is in pieces. It's cost her £1K to try and treat her and all she has ended up with is no cat. Having a hard time at the moment.

Sorry to hear that. Poor little cat. I'm sure you and your girlfriend gave her a lovely life. I know it's hard to focus on that at the moment though.

Sorry to hear of your loss. Its difficult to know how much to spend on an ill pet, though I expect I'd do the same for mine.
The pain gets better with time - think of the good times she had rather than the short period at the end.

Thanks for your comments. We're going to see a kitten at the weekend and if everything goes to plan we will be able to bring her home the following weekend. Well, there is a boy and a girl, but we are probably set on the girl. My gf is much happier now she has something to look forward to and is thinking of names. Cassie is top of the list so far.
