100 degrees boiling (from a kettle with 4 temp options so it is 100c and bubbling away)
it doesnt dissolve. it leaves massive sludge at the bottom of the mug.

with 5 in a box i tried half a sachet in a mug, same problem just less clumps and less sludge..
and i tried in a big soup bowl (a 900ml bowl) and with double the boiling water it still did not mix

and a fork not a spoon was used to stir.

+1 for Sainsburys own. Batchelors have tampered with their soups, not for the better - likewise Heinz. As has been said, why do they do it (cutting costs is the answer).

Weirdly when I was pregnant one of the only things I could stomach was cup a soup's. Those and pot noodles.

I cant stand them normally but lived on them for about 6 months.
