Any recommendations for a very cheap, very basic big button mobile phone. It's for my 95 year old mother.

Also this simple basic phone must have a long standby time.

Thanks, but don't really want, or need, an android phone or any internet connectivity.

I bought the following Binatone mobile from Amazon to do almost exactly what you want - it has big buttons and a "call someone if in trouble" programmable emergency button

Doro is where it's at.

One bit of advice I read from one of the age charities was that a clamshell mobile can be good as the physical action of opening and closing the handset can provide users with certainty about answering and perhaps more pertinently ending calls.

Just don't buy an Alba one from Argos, like I did. I can't get it to show the caller i.d, even if the caller is in the phone's caller list. And Argos have been worse than useless at trying to sort it.
