ITV Player etc. on 2000T
As the title says - how do I get all the other catch-up sources on my 2000T besides BBC iPlayer? I presume that some software can be downloaded or copied from a USB stick. Advice as to "how to" gratefully received.

Sorry but the answer is that nothing else is available.
I thought that I'd read that "aps" would become available. Sky don't do Utube but the Humax one is pretty useless - not enough information is displayed to know what it is. (c.f. try looking up World Bowls Tour to see the streaming at present from Scotland) |

One would have thought that if Sky do it so well on their box that Humax would have had the wit to put the facility on theirs.

Oh dear, oh dear! How very odd. One would have thought that if Sky do it so well on their box that Humax would have had the wit to put the facility on theirs.

You need one of the new Freeview Play boxes or a Youview box for the complete set of catchup players on DTT.
Besides, the 2000T can barely play any iPlayer content without rebooting itself so I doubt any other apps would fare much better. |

Does the DTR-T2000 500GB YouView+ HD not have a facility which I do have on the 2000T? i.e. does that have everything which the 2000T has but plus the "catch up" facilities? The main thing needed is the ability to jump plus forward a minute, jump minus backward 15sec.
With regard to comments made above, I never have any problem playing back from a USB stick which I have filled, for example, from Utube videos downloaded on my PC. As I mentioned above finding the particular session of the WBT bowling from Perth on the 2000T on Utube is next to impossible so I resort to downloading on the PC to watch later on the 2000T. I have found a new bug on it though. If I'm watching in another room via a scart+RF link and the main TV is off, when I come back into the room with the main TV then audio has disappeared from the HDMI connection (but not video) and I have to re-boot. |

The loss of audio on the 2000T is just another bug that has never been fixed, and it looks like it never will be.

I'm amazed that anybody likes anything on ITV enough to use the catch-up service.
![]() I also get that loss of audio problem from time to time, but not often enough to get too updet about it. |
