Thought she had no money, if she's using Maria's credit card or had pulled a load of money out we'd have known this by now.

I am wondering this. She is meant to be homeless I thought. And also she seems to have the money to rig up an elaborate cctv set up in Marias flat as well!

Caz has a bedsit according to the audio description. She finally managed to sort herself out with some accommodation.

Caz was on a park bench the other week, now look at her, set up in her bedsit. Also has she got a Harry Potter invisibility cloak? as she seems to come and go from Maria's as often as she did when she was living there, with out any one seeing her. And have the Police looked at the CCTV from the cash point where money was taken from, or the shops where items were bought which must be listed on Maria's credit card statement.
And don't get me started on Kate's sudden concern for Cat after weeks of treating her like something she had trodden in. I know you have to suspend a lot of belief in soaps but this storyline is beyond ridiculous.

Glad I'm not the only one who can't believe how the Police are working through this case.

I'm wondering why they haven't contacted the Army to find out about her history.

And somehow she's got access to a laptop? Did she have one before when she lived with Maria? Don't remember her having one.

Yes, she did, she was shown using it to look for jobs.

Not sure how she's affording the bedsit but I guess her army training will help her be as Invisible as possible when coming & going from the flat!! As for CCTV do all cashpoints have it? If they didn't then surely all she would need to do was withdraw cash with the card, then whatever she bought with the cash would be untraceable to her!! She has been clever enough to set all this up while Maria was away so presumably she had what she needed before Maria came back & stopped the credit card!!

Kate, I agree is a complete mystery!!! One character I would happily see leave before Caz personally!!

Didn't Maria say when she was looking at the credit card statement that there was a transaction at a shop opposite or near where Pablo lived so she used the credit card to purchase something in that instance. Has that shop got CCTV?

The real SoR is that the pin comes separately - about 3 days later, and it has to be activated, so how on earth is Caz managing to use the card?

This story line is beyond ridiculous. I hope it doesn't go on much longer or I will give up watching.

Dumbest police in soap land

This S/L had the potential to be great but they've completely hashed it up.

I agree with you, it is so silly.... a number of weeks ago she was homeless and living on a park bench. Now as the story suits she has managed to get a house, with broadband and has bought surveillance equipment and a tablet and now has gained the power of being able to come and go on the street without anyone noticing her

another that annoys me is that Kate was trying to get rid of her for months as she was as she was a compulsive liar... now when the police come around she has totally turned around and is saying she would not do that, and screaming at Maria in the street about what she has supposed to have done to Caz... what are these writers smoking, whatever it is is causing short term memory loss

I hate this story line. I really hate it when someone is wrongly accused of something and we all know the truth. It is beyond stupid that she would not be seen by someone entering and leaving Maria's flat. I really hope this story is not going to run and run like the damn Phelan plot. Does anyone know when it's coming to a conclusion?

How could she be hiding out in Maria's flat without being seen by Maria or Liam who are still living there?

She is staying in a flat somewhere else and has rigged up a camera in Maria's flat so she can watch Maria's movements and hear everything that is said.

I hate this storyline but some of this stuff can be explained.

Can found the cc application and sent it from Maria's laptop. She then conned Kirk into letting her stay at the the flat when Maria was in London with was abut 3 weeks. So enough time for the card and PIN to arrive at the flat for her to open and activate. She then went to London for 2 dAysgarth to buy the mobile to frame Maria.

She could have got cash back from shops or even pubso using the card. It'll be nice the statement but how does Maria prove it wasn't her. GCHEERS can access road cctv but not everywhere has it. I know as I was the victim fa hit and run car crash recentlyrics luckily I wasn't hurt but my car was bad and I informed the Police (as legAlly required) and they checked and no cctv despite it being a fairly busy raboutility in a town centre.

She chap storyline but I can believe she hasn't been caughtnot TV and she's livingon money taken from Maria's

I agree there's a lot of potential holes in the storyline but some of it can and has been explained, although some only as throwaway remarks.

IIRC Maria has said that she'd applied for the credit card herself, Caz then found the the card in the post which Maria didn't bother looking at before she left for London. A bit odd perhaps as you'd at least glance through it, especially if you're likely to be away for three weeks (although Maria had mentioned a few days, not weeks). Even so, looking at the post would be normal, more so if there was a chance that something useful like a new credit card would be in there.

Caz has clearly tried to use the card in places in London to incriminate Maria, the one thing that might catch her out is the train tickets. Ideally Caz should have paid in cash but if she used the card (and Maria used a different card), there would be two sets of tickets which would make no sense even if Maria was trying to cover her tracks. It could be argued that she popped back from London to Weatherfield but the direction of travel would be wrong (unless Caz just bought expensive singles). CCTV at the railway stations could resolve this.

I thought it had been said that Caz used the card in a couple of cash machines but I might be confusing myself with some of the things posted here!

The card has now been stopped so it remains to be seen how Caz is funding herself now...

What makes no sense to me is the scissors - even if Maria did stab Caz with them, why would she then put them back in her case without cleaning them? That only makes sense if Caz wanted to freak Maria out, it makes no sense at all if there really was a murder. Not that it matters if the police don't find them.

Caz had been there to put the blood on the scissors but she had left by the time Maria came back. When she sensed someone was there it was Kirk.

There is no way Caz would hide out in a one floor flat with the residents still there. What would have been the point of her putting the cameras in there, if she was still hiding out there. All she would need to do was put her ear against the door to hear what was going on, there would be no need for the camera.

Is it possible Caz akways had money squirrelled away but pretended not to so as to elicit sympathy and get to stay first with Kate, then Sophie?

Also, she could have been withdrawing cash everyday on the card for a couple of weeks uo to the limit which is likely to be a few grand. She could easily make that last a few weeks.

What got me re the scissors is that she didn't use gloves so her fingerprints would be on the handles.

Maria stated she completed the application but didn't send it so she wasn't expecting a card in the post to look out for or tell Kirk to.
