I'm going to assume Kasim's excessive hair was interfering with his senses, as he seems to have thrown over the bespectacled cutie and gone back to a man who bought him Kylie's entire back catalogue, knowing that he hated it. Though I guess even that's better than being thrown off a bridge to certain death by Emma the first time he forgets Finn's birthday.

That was a lie though engineered by Psycho Emma so that her son wouldn't feel too rejected.

So it seems that Finn was even crap at being a creepy stalker not being able to find out that his comatose victim actually hated Kylie.

Finn's taxi cab business must be doing well if he can afford two tickets to see Kylie in Australia.

He might have inherited some money from James. Or he might have used a credit card and will pay a bit off each month.

How many weeks has Finn been around a conscious Kasim? And only today has he found out that Kasim doesn't like Kylie, that the Kylie CDs were bought as a poor joke and that both Kasim & the giver of the CDs recognized the whole thing for the stereotype that it is. One can only think that Finn's gaydar is malfunctioning!

The script in Emmerdale is so random, its funny.

Tell me about it. Mind you I don't look at spoilers much, so I guess it might not be over, but it does feel like it. Unless it turns out in 6 months time that Emma has been keeping him tied up in a basement.

If it is over, it sure has been one weirdass storyline. Not one bit of it made any sense. A lot of the writing over Christmas has honestly been the crappest I can remember on the show, so I guess this is just part of that.

If it is over, then that might explain why the lazy writers just couldn't be asked to make Kasim a three dimensional character, since they knew he'd be off after a couple of weeks of consciousness.
I would have liked him to have hung around long enough on the show to have had his first haircut, at least. The writers could have made this romance into far more than what they've given us. Very disappointing.

I thought Kasim was going to start having some kind of flashbacks to the accident while up on't viaduct, seeing Emma on the bridge which I thought was his whole raison d'etre from the beginning. I think that I think too much.

I wonder if the storyline is going to be Finn going full on crazy stalker.

Yes, he should try the conscious community next time. I'm not sure he would have much success, though.

That would have been the only acceptable excuse for introducing a character who, even when conscious, turned out to be almost as wet as Finn himself.

Why would Kasim still be hanging around the village after breaking up with Finn? He has absolutely no other connections or reasons for being there, but we are meant to believe he's moved his whole life there now? If him and Finn had been a long term relationship it would be slightly more understandable that he was sticking around close by for a bit, but that's not the case at all. Wtf?

I've no idea why he's still hanging around - maybe the show will give some kind of reason for it.

The entire story has been one dreadful plot driven pile of tosh

I can't believe I was looking forward to this storyline. Finn has deserved a storyline for ages and I used to like him but in recently I've found him quite irritating and just want to flick him off my screen. It's a shame as he had potential and the actor is very good.

Did any of them work over New Year and Christmas??? I mean I' m not an expert on the taxi game, but you'd have thought it might just be the busiest time of the year for them!

I love Kasim

He came across as a really nice guy in this episode. He could have been quite brutal but he was kind.

And where is he getting the money? He's been out of work work the whole time he was in a coma, then gets out of the hospital and comes to stay at the B&B - not cheap.

I also think too much about these things.

I'm sure he'll be working at the factory within two weeks, assuming Emma hasn't killed him. He feels a bit like Alex, who came on the show, slept around a bit, was never given much of a backstory, then got offed by a serial killer. Poor Alex.
