Which was the case with Pixie 2 years ago and they're still complaining about it.

Can I start a petition to rid of either Janette or Aljaz for next year? They've both gone stale now

Do people just actively dislike Ore or something I am confused why so many people on twitter seem to want him out or thinks he is out Just clicking on the strictly spoiler tag on twitter.

Yeah, I have a feeling next week will be Ed vs Greg, with Ed going out.

Can I make a late plea to "play nice" in here.
If you want to slag off a particular celeb or their Pro - don't do it in here please.
Go to one of the supporter threads and post in there - you will soon be able to pick a fight.
This forum is for fluffy chat while we wait for the result.

I go on about it every year - but there IS a pattern involving who has signed up for the Strictly Tour - as they need those celebs to go a long way.

Daisy would never put bums on seats.
Greg might.
Ed and Rinder Definitely will sell tickets.

There was a post a couple of years ago by an insider who said that at the BBC the Strictly Tour is definitely part of "Strictly as a whole" and is tightly controlled by the BBC.
It is a big money earner for them.

We still do not know who has signed up, but I would find in no coincidence that most of them are still in the competition.”

Claudia maybe not as she has Gymnastic competitions around that time.

To be fair to Janette this year she didn't really get much of a chance to show anything.

When people say 'hedged' like that, what does it actually mean? Is it a horseracing thing (like jumping hedges)? Something else?

If anyone knows

I don't think they had it in for them - it's just that none of them caught the public imagination so they stage managed all of their departures in a way that was best for them and the show. Certainly I don't think any of them were ever competition for Louise at all. Claudia's competition for Louise, but not any of those three.

BTW I think anyone predicting Ed leaving next week is insane.

She didn't show much last year though and she was in until a week after Blackpool

Search me...

I think he's a lovely guy, genuine, and a gorgeous natural dancer. But there does seem to be popular dislike of him

Janette can go but not Aljaz . Unfortunately, they seem to come as a package so we are probably never going to get rid of her anytime soon; especially since J. Gilkison like to feature her front and center of many pro dances.

Ore is acting far too humble for someone who knows they are good.

Means putting a bet on that if one loses the other will cover the cost of both if it wins. Also applies to each way bets.

I'm sorry to see Daisy go, she wasn't the worst dancer in the show IMO.

Thank you Monaogg, Loon, Sweetiecat, xhannahlongx, Amethyzt, the secret mole & luigy39 for organizing the thread & for getting the result .

Ta... I kind of knew that, vaguely. But why is it called hedging? Is it like sitting on the fence? It sounds like one of those metaphors that comes out of something that's real... I'll google it

Actually neither the BBC or the judges are responsible for the bottom two. It is we the public who vote as we feel fit and only then can the judges choose. Don't bash the BEEB
