I am gutted Daisy has gone. She is such a sweetheart. Honestly how could they save Greg over her? His routine was so stilted.

This, squared. The scores are now so predictable that I could tell you them before the couple dance. So often the judge's comments seem to bear little resemblance to what has actually transpired. Don't get what the story is with Danny, except they have been trying so hard to get Kevin Cliften to win every year, it might be that. Danny is SO much better than everyone else, it is remarkable. He looks like a professional dancer. (And I don't mean that as a barb, I genuinely do love watching him dance)

And PS, I don't have a problem with the Cliftens - I've taken quite a shine to Jo. My favourite for weeks now has been Nat and Greg. He is what Strictly used to be about - someone with no previous dance experience learning to dance and slowly improving and genuinely loving it.

True. Daisy appeared twice before in the DO from mid table, she was getting few public votes. Having seen the audience at pro tours, I do think that's the fans and regular voters, not so much the ones vocal on social media. They identify with Louise, the mum giving it a go more than the younger Daisy or Laura.

I think only once both scored 31 and all the other weeks, Louise was marked higher,
so may be just once.

Both weeks Daisy was in the dance-off (before now) Louise was only one space above her on the leaderboard, which means Louise got more votes both times.

So perfect for the Paso then?

I felt it was his best dance thus far, he played the character perfectly.

If anyone is interested, the mole mentioned there were problems with the chairs.

Think a previous mole also mentioned this issue.

If she was just above her, then fair enough.

This is what I am trying to ascertain.

Someone who has been and posted details, did complain a lot about how uncomfortable the chairs are. As the mole mentioned this is a later text, thought I would pass on this nugget of information here.

It wasn't originally my comment, and I've obviously never met Louise so my observations are purely from what I see on TV, but for me she's just a very unlikeable person, which is exacerbated by her obvious acting/dance training which makes it less fair on the genuine 'no previous experience' contestants.

Has he been ignored? Someone on here said danny had been involved in dance productions in theatre land. One thing for sure is that both of them have way more dance experience than the others.

Maybe because the judges appear to be more critical of Danny than Louise.
NB How accurate that perception may be is another thing.

I wonder why Greg was in the DO though. Most weeks he is low on the leaderboard and yet obviously was getting enough votes not to be in the DO. I thought he did well in his dance yesterday so would have got a lot of votes”

A bit surprised they didn't save daisy, if only to even up the male/female celebs. Also a bit surprised that greg didn't get out of trouble.....although as I said last nite, the jooodges made it more difficult for the bottom-dwellers to get out of trouble by spacing them all out points-wise (i.e. only one tie, daisy/greg). This means it was easier for their favourites at the top end to stay out of trouble in the public vote.
That said, well done to Ed and JR and claudia for getting through to blackpool!!

not a fan of either tbh...but I did think danny's AT was crisper and sharper than louise's the week before. Yet two of the jooodges chose to criticise him. Maybe they think he is just too confident? I dunno!

That is crazy. So do they watch the main show and the results on the same day. I can't see them broadcasting the main show on Saturday night, their time??.

or maybe, just maybe, that ed is their favourite?
