You seem to be unfamiliar with the SCD history. And since it is very patchy you'd better believe that it is up to the judges and producers to select a person whom they believe to fit better into their plans for the programme (e.g. the person who will attract more voters like Greg or has a powerful husband like Penny Lancaster) .

Having been lucky enough to attend the Live show courtesy of my cousin Judy Murray, I can confirm that the chairs are hard, and for long time you are sitting, it can be uncomfortable.

Talk about name dropping.

As contestants regularly get disliked for no good reason, is Andy Murray really a miserable git, or is he just 'misunderstood'.

Thank you for sharing this. When/IF (more like) I ever get tickets I'll be sure to take my stadium cushion with me. Don't have much padding personally in the 'seating' area

Rather looking forward to the results show, for a change, to see what actually happened

The "best seats," looked like they had thin blue cushions on them.
I presume the seats are designed to be uncomfortable, so that when the audience is "ordered to give a standing ovation," they are only too willing to stand up to give their bums a rest.

Another classic there Doghouse, - of course not true, but at least sets up a joke for you.

You worry too much about my opinions, it's not good for you.

Cushion is so thin, it makes your bum numb!

How unkind! It's hardly name dropping to say you are actually someone's cousin - name dropping is if you're trying to make out you know important people when you don't know them that well.

Not unkind at all.

The poster didn't mind at all.

'Talk about name dropping' doesn't have to be a criticism- unless you choose to see it as such.

The Andy Murray comment was to do with all these posters who have an irrational dislike of people they've never met. You can dislike someone if they have abhorrent views if you like, but as all they do is dance people are deciding they don't like someone for being 'too humble' or too this or too that.

Clearly my comment was too subtle for you.

Many thanks Monaogg and all who bring us the spoilers every week. I liked Daisy, she seemed like she was really enjoying the whole experience.

Does anyone know how the judges voted?

Clearly he's not as popular with the public at large as this forum seems to think - this was the first week where there weren't a notable amount of ties on the leaderboard (which always help those lower down on judges' scores).

I don't think it's surprising at all that he was in the dance-off, but I think it's astonishing he was saved over Daisy, who despite a very average salsa is a much better dancer overall, and we all know the judges don't actually vote on the dance-off alone. I'm pretty sure this will have been Len's doing in a split decision, as I don't see Craig voting for Greg at all.

I thought your original post about Judy being your cousin was actually quite lovely, Mrs Spratt. Shows how supportive you were to your family and how proud you are.

Unfortunately, I don't have any famous relatives for nice reasons like yours, mine are more notorious in their fame!

Perhaps Judy has a large extended family. I do too but I am not related to Judy or anyone famous.

I'll declare myself now as the person who is hoping to be able to provide the spoiler for Blackpool. I was lucky in getting tickets but can't attend, so an old school friend of mine is going instead. I will post in the spoiler thread whether my friend has been validated and able to provide the spoiler for sure.

I had problems in gaining access to DS last night and if the same occurs next week, it will delay me in posting the spoiler. Can I please politely request that refreshing is kept to a minimum?

We will remind people during the show and when the list closes.

Hope your friend has a marvellous time and thanks again.

Dissapointed they put Greg through. Can't warm to him. Also getting fed up with Judge Rinder constant gushing. Starting to look over the top and very false. That's just my opinion.
