Last few weeks absolutely awful

I enjoyed the last show much more than Week 2, 3 & 4. I think its because of the pressure being ramped up which creates drama. The 1st show I didn't mind but the shows after felt like purgatory viewing!. The show tends to get more interesting around the half way mark, thats what i've noticed from past series. Its also my 1st year watching Strictly which is warm, fun & genuine, basically everything X factor isn't. So ye I'm just wandering if you share that sentiment .

Horrible for the last couple of years. Only one good singer left and she already has a decent career.

I think this year had struggled but 5AM were great last week and I think Honey G is absolutely hilarious. Saara is good but I can't see how she'll have a career outside of the show as a popular singer. Sam, Ryan, Matt and Emily I just don't see any interest in.

XF in 2010 got 16 million viewers, currently it has lost Ten million of thickset viewers, clearly its dying, and most agree with you as they switched off many years ago.

Last Sunday Planet Earth got nine million viewers to XFs Six, so people are around but choose not to watch XF.

To be honest this series is frustrating as we lost really good singers in Christian, Nate, Peyton, James, and Tom & Laura, yet we have been stuck with acts like Bratavio, Honey G, Ryan, 4OD, 5AM, Matt, I mean none of these are very interesting imo.

There has been a few with potential this year like Saara, Sam, Gifty, Relley, and Freddy, but Simon hasn't marketed any of them properly so I can't blame the public for not voting for any of them.

Yep. There were some very good people at Judges Houses but they binned them off and have pushed through acts who would have struggled to get past bootcamp in previous years.

I wonder if they're already planning for when The Voice comes to ITV next year where that will be the singers show ad XF will be nothing more than a light entertainment show full of kiddy pop and novelty acts

Strictly is so much better than X Factor, even the spin off is great with Zoe Ball. Everything about Strictly comes across as warm & I'm saying this as a 1st time viewer. X Factor is a marketing exercise for Cowell's label.

It's a 'product' designed to keep his trousers waist-high. I've watched nearly every series of this shit in the hope it goes back to its roots as a singing competition. The contestants get worse each year which is ashame because they've got the judges and presenter right for once.
