Sharma's Pure Confectionery Company, what a shining example of 21st century British Enterprise.

Don't employ a professional sales force. Use prostitutes to obtain the orders, and you can then blackmail the client to keep repeating the order, or else!

Brilliant.
I know. Some of the storylines are just ludicrous.

Howay man Kerry and her ridiculousness holds no bounds. From bopping her head to 80s music and twerking up to Rakesh whilst drinking on the job which strangely no one smelt on her breath and strangely does not affect her diabetes, but in this episode she has dressed in Bernice's gear and swanned off to the pub because she now has business nouse, apparently business nouse is just aquired, there is no training, it just comes naturally in Emmerdale.

This odd phenomenon started happening many moons ago when Charity turned up and shagged business men and by doing so she aquired their business acumen. Kerry on the other hand just is aquiring it for no reason. Out of all of the factory workers Jai let her be the supervisor, really stupid and would never happen in real life.

Then we have Diane changing her stance and trying to plead with Lachlan's better nature, the lad's turned evil you have no chance, so she slaps him, stupid woman and can someone explain why she is still wearing her cancer wig after her hair should have grown back?

Of course Adam and Victoria are wanting a baby now and there are other things happening, but the war with the Home Farm residents and the Kerry rubbish is dominating the show at the moment, when will it all end?

Morning Oldnjaded

Warning Kwynne will be around this evening on Babysitting duty, still at least I will know who is voted out of strictly and not have to wait and be all tense watching the results show tomorrow heh.

Still New TV less since the Tesco Salford TV was sold out and Trafford Centre was a bust, boy are the Tv's in John Lewis expensive.

So the choice no is either take your advice and go online, boy the £100 24 in tv I saw in Tesco Irlam this morning or go to Cash Converter in Salford and get the one going for £49, but who wants a second hand or reconditioned TV that's probably won't last a year
Seriously Kwynne, get one online, off Amazon or something, it'll be delivered in a couple of days. ONJ is right about it being crazy to try carrying one on a bus, unless you buy one that's so small you'll regret it the second you switch it on, you are risking it trying to manage it, if some old dear clacks it with her zimmer frame while fiddling for her buspass, the shop won't take it back or replace it!

Or in an hour and 5 minutes after I have watch TOTP for me, well when I say watched I mean fall asleep while Sheena Eastern is on and wak after the good Old days have started and wonder whats going on.
TOTP was rubbish last night, the Good Old Days however is fantastic and really enjoyable

Kerry's business nouse involves nothing but dropping her knickers, no wonder it just comes naturally to her! If you practice doing something long enough it becomes second nature does it not?!

I' ve had a couple of second hand tellies and they' ve always lasted awhile. The last telly I had was secondhand and lasted years! It was analogue though, I don't know about digital ones. TVs are so expensive these days. I think if I needed a new one it would have to be Brighthouse

Shop around, you can do much better than that shower of loan sharks.

Sainsburys and Asda have some cheaper ones, and you know they will treat you fairly.

Sadly many people think BH is a 'cheap way' of buying stuff even when the total amount you'll spend is printed in their literature and is a shame faced rip off whichever way you look at it.

Old style tvs can be bought for small amounts these days but they're a pig to move about and often lack the connections for the 'kit' that most people use these days.
A good slimline tv can be bought for less than £100 in almost any shop these days, little more than you would have paid for a black and white portable in the 70s or 80s!

But I get a ten quid discount on new purchases ONJ so it's still a bargain for me to shop there and you're right I'm trying to deter 'window shoppers' cluttering up the showrooms for us 'Valued customers'.

You can use your £10 discount on any item in that store and I bet you could still buy it cheaper somewhere else.

Hi kwynne, what a miserable morning.

I certainly wouldn't go for a recon tv, just too risky. I really think you have to be dragged kicking and screaming into the 21st century and think about buying online. It really is perfectly safe and in the unlikely event of something going wrong your bank or credit card company have to refund the money. Or get a decent sized one in Tesco or wherever and pay a few quid to have it delivered. It's just crazy to try and carry any tv on a bus.
Evening Oldmjaded

TV bought from Makro for a reasonable price so all now good

Sugdens have a longheld tradition of being hostile to whoever owns Home Farm, many such wars in the past

Evening

I looked in brighthouse, all the ones in there were old fashioned square tvs, admittedly they were selling them for £15 but much too bulky

Ahh yes - who can forget the famous Sugden / Wylde feud
or
the fiery Sugden / Macey fight
or
the stand off between the Sugdens & the Kings

Nope - can't remember them either...................................

There was a fairly hostile feud between the sugdens and Kings over a field they recruited Cain and Robert who set fire to Andys barn, it ended with max dying in a crash between Robert and Andy in the crossfire so it was fairly intense feud.

also Declan and Andy did have some needle over Katie.

Jack Sugden spent half his life fighting Home Farm and considered hs brother Joe a traitor for working at Home Farm Estates.
