NOTE -- As you can see, the fact that Robbie's latest No.1 Album is his 12th
& his 35th No.1 Album Week, moves him up in both Lists.

He moves into the Top 10 in the Acts with the most No.1 Weeks List. He moves up to
No.7 in the List of the Acts with the most UK No.1's. As you can see, he is 7th= in that
List - with Take That. But theirNo.1 Hits are a mirror image of each other - Take That
have 12 No.1 Singles & 7 No.1 Albums & Robbie has 7 No.1 Singles & 12 No.1 Albums.....

ELTON JOHN -- For some reason The OCC does not count Elton's 2012 Album,
with the Australian Duo Pnau, as being a No.1 for him. Even though it is credited to
Elton John vs Pnau and all 3 of them are pictured on the cover. So The OCC give
Elton 6 UK No.1 Albums & 28 No.1 Album Weeks - giving him 51 UK No.1 Weeks over
-all. As you can see, I do count his No.1 with Pnau as being an Elton No.1 & he gets 52
UK No.1 Weeks in my List.

Those Elvis re-issues from early 2005 were a sign of the times. The fact a limited edition re-release of many Elvis singles still sold enough to be #1 on four weeks during that time spoke volumes about the state of the CD single.

That's CD single, not the charts.

However, I really don't see why the OCC count those #1s from 2005 separate from the original. After all, didn't they also include the same b-sides on the re-issues too.

They must've had a different catalogue number compared with the original releases from the late 50s/60s/early 70s.

As much as I liked Michael Jackson's music from the late 70s/80s/early 90s, I'm glad the same trick in 2006 failed to deliver any #1 singles.

Over-all Robbie Williams has sung on 16 UK No.1 Albums.

He was on 4 with Take That - Everything Changes, (1993), Nobody Else, (1995),
Greatest Hits, (1996), and Progress, (2010). The OCC regards the enhanced version
- Progressed - reaching No.1, in 2011, as Progress returning to No.1.

Although Robbie left Take That in June 1995 & Greatest Hits was released in March
1996, it is right to say that it is one of his No.1's, as he sang on 17 of the 18 Tracks on it.

Only 3 of The Beatles have been on more UK No.1 Albums - Paul McCartney, (22), and
John Lennon & George Harrison, (18 each). George's 18 include 1 with The Traveling
Wilburys, in 2007. Ringo Starr has had 15 UK No.1 Albums - all with The Beatles.

and Westlife....I'm not sure whether they have any memorable music?
