SOC still not sure EE

I aint going to be negative I just wanna be as truthful as I can.
I'm really not sure on what to make of EE at the moment. Lees storyline is good Phils has been going on for ages which was under DTC. Apart from that theres no real story direction these characters are going. Does anyone care about Kims car lessons Or Billy working in a funeral home acting like a manager. SOC has yet to give any interview in where he wants to take EastEnders not given any hints. Not bought any new characters in. Also it seems like xmas is going to be a very Quite one. I think he needs to come out and say what his vision is.

In my opinion he doesn't need to come out and say anything, DTC did that and then basically went back on everything he said, SOC is doing fine,

Ronnie & Roxy will probably have the most boring exit story ever.

i agree it feels like its just floating along at the moment, obviously SOC is new and its early days but i'm growing frustrated with some of the filler-esq storylines. Libby returning just to harp on about veganism, the bins, kim's driving. theres been some great touching moments but it just seems to lack any momentum. lee and whitney's wedding for example.

How many of these threads are there now?

Don't really have any interest in knowing what his vision is, I think all it can do is build up expectations and create inevitable disappointment.

I don't think he needs to make any kind of statement, all he needs is to be left alone to do his job. The proof will be in the pudding. We'll either like the show, or we won't.

We pretty much know what Ronnie and Roxys exit storyline is

I think no one expected this exit for Ronnie and Roxy when they announced a "Big Exit" for them. I was expecting a long story arc that ends with them leaving/dying.

OK maybe its connected to Roxy's exclusion but there has not been much build up for two characters that have been around for 10 years. No hint at all.

Masood is the same. What a lame exit for a character that's been around 9 years.

EE was never this dull in the 80's. I watched it back then. I struggle now.
