Gwyneth Strong's now had a small number of appearances. Thought she was just cast a guest role for the darts but the stuff with the Christmas play and scenes tonight may be paving the way for a longer stint.

If she is then I think this era is going to end up being completely shite. She is an awful actress and the character isn't even likeable. I thought she ran her own pub? yet now it turns out Walford Players is her life? where has she been hiding for the past 32 years? Like the Spring Line lot. I wish EE wouldn't add in characters and pretend they have only been living around the corner for years. Its just silly.

Yes, she was always my least favourite part of OFAH mainly because her acting skills were appalling, that and she just didn't fit in.

Something about her just jarred and as you say her acting was appalling. Unlike Rochelle who was fabulous and was a perfect fit for the show. Her scene with Kathy the other night was so badly acted that even Gillian looked aghast.😦

I'd be happy to see her stay. I do agree that the scene in the café was very OTT. Hopefully she'd tone it down if she stayed.
