Yeah, I'd imagine that a lot of tenants wouldn't know all that much about their rights unless it comes to a point where they have to fight their landlord on an unfair eviction.

There's far too many dodgy landlords. At our last tenancy, the landlord was a gas engineer but we'd found out that the electrics and gas fittings were unsafe and illegal from him cutting corners to get it out for rent faster. We reported him to the Gas Safe Registry and he evicted us for being 'unreasonable tenants' when our contract came up for renewal.

I agree, you'd think after Lawrence's threat while they protesting near his property, they'd focus first on moving to another house so that he couldn't hurt them back. Also, Diane has to be the worst vandal ever.

No wonder Robert didn't trust her with the truth when he found out.
