Coz I said a lot of people take drugs! Judging by the drug crime around the world I doubt I would be wrong would I! I live in London and it's rife here let alone anywhere else.....you only have to look at the statistics no use getting touchy on a fact of Life I didn't judge anyone or accuse anyone of taking a class A drug! I admitted I tried it and lots of people have - so what
QFT. I live somewhere much much much smaller than London but it's rife here too. Just because some people don't encounter it doesn't mean it isn't happening.

I thought it was a pretty fair comment. Maybe it's an age thing, as I personally (being 30) know like one person who hasn't at least tried weed, but if it is an age thing then that doesn't explain the 70's though... And I'm not from 'urban London' or hang around dodgy characters - I'm very much what you might call middle class and very vanilla, nothing rough about me.

I'm 26 and I'm from a good family - I live in an okay part of London but know a lot of people and it's rife everywhere here no matter where you are! I'm actually a good person I tried it when I was 17 and decided it wasn't the life of me - it happens everywhere I'm very aware of it and have been around in daily but I chose not to have that life for myself, it's happening everywhere and whether you have taken drugs or not taken drugs guaranteed you would know someone who had whether it be a family Member or a friend of a friends friend - literally is no escaping it, it's in the news everyday!

Honey G has been advised very badly.
Whether her drug use is real or not,I suspect she has been advised to talk about it to prove her rapper "keeping it real" credentials.
She gets "street cred" and her votes diminish
Maybe that's what the producers want... Just saying

You could be onto something here Jason. Maybe truth has finally become stranger than fiction and Cowell has created a reality show within a reality show where he takes the least talented, least credible, least urban, least street person who crosses his path and manages to persuade the public that this person is the future of hip hop and celebrated by legends of the genre.
I really hope that is true
The world really doesn't need any more Mariah Carey/Beyonce/Michael Buble/Bruno Mars 2nd rate imitators

Aren't you doing the same thing?
By disagreeing that "a huge amount" of people might not actually have taken a drug? I don't see how.

Ah. Is this what you think I'm driving at? I can assure you I'm not. I know full well from my own area that drug problems are on the rise. I'm not trying to downplay anything.

My objection is the attiude that "out of all your friends X amount WILL have taken a drug" or that a "huge" amount of people have like it's an indisputable fact.

Basically what's the norm for some people and the friends will be a world a way from the norm of another group, and as someone who doesn't and never has tried a drug (let alone bloody class As!) I resent the possibility of being included with those who have because "so many people do it".

While I agree there are probably more than enough bad divas and crooners in the world, I'm not sure Honey G is what the music industry is missing either

To add, I'm not even beginning to imply drug users are bad people. Look at my original post where I defend Honey G from the Twatter brigade.

Sorry I wasn't clear enough before.

Anyway, I agree with people saying Honey G talking about drugs and then going on about how she's "hardcore" is ridiculous. How she's managing to keep up the "gangsta" speak and stupid fake accent I don't know.

Can't be arse to read the article which has obviously been put out there by the "X-Factor Machine" but does the article male it clear whether it is talking about 'Honey G' or Anna Guildford who are two different people, one being the alter-ego of the other with her own back-story and life-history.

She doesn't keep up the accent though and slips up all the time. The street talk is ridiculous though. If she isn't a parody, I feel sorry for her because she's either not all there or just completely deluded

I'd be surprised if she's had anything stronger than nurofen.

I don't think shes done any drugs in her life and that this was a story created for more publicity.

They really haven't.

Anyway, when is this woman going to bore off?
I don't know anyone who hasn't 'dabbled' at least once or twice in their lifetime

I think Jason Watkin's quote (above) is right when he says it's just an attempt to make her sound more 'street cred'. They'll be telling us she served 4 terms at Alcatraz next.

Well, it won't be the first time Blondie, he's got previous -Zig & Zag, Robson & Jerome! I guarantee she'll do a joke Christmas song, then sink without a trace. Let's face it, if Mr Blobby could sell records........

Yeah but as Roesia said what's normal around you isn't the same for everyone.

I fully expect her to confess to her part in the Brinks Mat robbery.

However Even if you don't know anyone that does or has done drugs and are 100% telling the truth it's not unheard of in every country town city and village - news reports and word of mouth drug dealers are everywhere..... Theres a huge percentage of population having tried it and or been Spiked.

Also it doesn't matter how nice or straight your friends seem sometimes those types are the worst - my friend for eg went to private school and is highly educated and posh spoken and she dabbled a fair few times. Just saying

Yes you're right, not everyone has. I doubt very much though that Honey G was 'addicted' as she makes out, she probably just had a few snorts & smokes at Uni.

Yes uni is probably where a lot of people try it and we're talking any drugs here - including weed which is highly popular !
