Most of the weeks Ed is bottom, how is that favouritism??
![]() Danny Mac's AT was much sharper and crisper than louise's last week...yet two of the judges had a go at him. Maybe they think he is too confident... |

I think she's been great for the past two weeks, before that I'd probably have agreed that she was a bit dull.
For me it's Claudia that appears to be overmarked. She's technically good, but I've seen nothing that really does it for me..no wow factor. |

All Kevin's partners get over marked. It's not their fault, the judges favour him.I wish he would get a really rubbish dancer next year. He wouldn't know where to start, he would be completely out of his depth.

Doesn't matter he is bottom and only public can save him. Where as Louise is always near the top and saved by judges scores.

Edited to add: Judge Rinder not been last either. Claudia was last week 5 and week 7 so if you're going to use the pimp slot argument (weak, in my opinion), she is getting the most favourable treatment. |

That could be classed as a penalty. By the time they have got up early to go to Paris, Stood around filming for hours and got back they will have put in at least 12 hours with little to show for it. Its not as if they were on holiday and free to see the sights or chill out in a bistro. Instead it wil have been travel and lots of tedious waiting and short bursts of repeating the same action several times
I just did a tiny bit of filming for the BBC and what will amount to maybe a couple of 30 second bursts on screen, if it gets used at all, took 4 hours to do. By the time I had walked into the room 5 times so it could be filmed from different angles and moved my foot 3 times and hung about while the sorted the light or sound the morning flew by I agree with you regarding the trip to Paris. Probably not as enjoyable as it sounds at first. |

In the past I've tried hard not to be cynical about this show, but its become increasingly hard not to... this year the judges' blatant favoritism of Louise & Kevin is really annoying me! I really do think Aliona was right a few weeks back when she said they were playing with their toys Ore & Danny but would then push hard for Louise & Kevin to win, so far they are following that so closely that its just not funny.
I know Louise has fans out there but I find her bland and boring, IMO she has not improved since week 1 and is being praised to the hills for mediocrity. I just hope that the public will use their own minds and choose a winner they want rather than be told who is improving - I suspect this is going to be like last year's Jay V Kellie situation all over again with judges sulking because their favourite doesn't win!

I find it hilarious that Jaliona's fans are STILL bitter about what the judges said in the last year's final and are STILL sprouting Clifton's conspiracy theories.
Freud would have a field day.

I've never been a big fan of Louise, but I have thought that she was very good this week and last week. I think she deserved to be second on the leaderboard, for me only Danny was better than her tonight. I did think Danny's AT was better than Louise's though.

Louise and Kevin have been last twice like AJ and Claudia have - they have also started twice and on tonights performance thought they deserved their 2nd place

Public can do what they like, judges alone do all the work for Kevin, it's not the same.

The problem is that the actual or perceived favoritism does not always work in the celeb's favour, because it does create some negative feelings for them. She dances very well, but I do not feel engaged when she dances, not sure why, but there you go.
I also have difficulties warming to Kevin. He just seems so desperate to win. And don't start me on the fact he has never had a no hopper dance partner. Also is it confirmed that he gets far more final dance slots than other pro dancers? |

For me, Claudia is a better dancer than Louise, but I don't dream that she'll ever get the scores/praise that Louise does.
I don't know- I feel like I'm being told that Louise is improving and is really coming out of her shell, but I don't know that I've seen that happening. Louise on the other hand has been improving with her performance levels but still isn't quite there yet, and her precision can be hit or miss. |

Errm. The judges can also do what they like. If they want to overscore Louise then they are within their right to. When have the judges ever been a pillar of professionalism?

I think Louise is really classy, she's naturally elegant and technically very good, doesn't forget routines or make mistakes, understands the music and the choreography, has a sweet, under-stated style, and deserves the scores she gets. I'm pleased to see she is also foregoing the frumpy outfits, which indicates that her confidence is growing. She hasn't yet given me a full-on wow moment, and I can understand that she may be a little too vanilla for some tastes, but she's consistently good.

Think you need to look at Ore if you're looking for favouritism. Vastly overmarked for a dull Rhumba full of timing issues, despite what Len said.
