I find it hilarious that Jaliona's fans are STILL bitter about what the judges said in the last year's final and are STILL sprouting Clifton's conspiracy theories.
Freud would have a field day. ![]() Edited to add (doing this a lot on this thread )Yes: Quote:
Sadly you're probably right.
![]() I actually like Kevin a lot, I think he's a brilliant partner and I loved him with Kellie last year, but his partners should be judged on their own merits. When you assume... |

Tonight is the first time I thought Louise was overmarked - I didn't see anything spectacular about that dance at all - hated the choreography, there wasn't much actual dancing, and I'd have given it 7 or 8 at best. No denying she's very elegant though, and her AT last week was outstanding. She can clearly dance, but their partnership doesn't excite me.

Think you need to look at Ore if you're looking for favouritism. Vastly overmarked for a dull Rhumba full of timing issues, despite what Len said.

I thought Ore's timing tonight was brilliant. His arm extensions and general body movements had fluidity and grace. The marks were well deserved.

I think some people need to stop their Clifton mania before they need treating for it I could not stand Aliona and the only dance I liked that Jay did was the jive, I did not have a favorite last year I also dont have a favorite this year although I do like Rob Rinder for his love of dance I am a 59 yearold woman who does not lust over young men and if I was lusting after a youg man I would tell you in no uncertain terms |

Same here, I thought Ore's rumba was great, I'm surprised by the amount of anti-Ore posts on the forums tonight.
BTW, I know he's been in the bottom two before, but that doesn't automatically mean he won't win. Look at Abbey Clancy and Caroline Flack, for example. |

All Kevin's partners get over marked. It's not their fault, the judges favour him.I wish he would get a really rubbish dancer next year. He wouldn't know where to start, he would be completely out of his depth.
Can you definitively prove judge intent to favour anyone? And can you prove he would not know where to start with a rubbish dancer? This has to count as another example of conspiracy theory laden and nonsensical supposition which I'm afraid has no substance to it whatsoever. |

I believe if you read the other comments, OP was actually a Kellie & Kevin fan?
Edited to add (doing this a lot on this thread )Yes: Also, I would consider myself a Jay & Aliona fan yet here I am throughout this thread defending Louise & Kevin. When you assume... I was really unenthusiastic about Louise, called her beige, bland, nice, etc, but credit where is due, these past two weeks she upped her game. |

Great dancer but she is not as great as the judges make it seem. She is going to be in the finale without a doubt; I just hope that she doesn't win. I honestly haven't felt compelled to re-watch any of her dances; Just too bland also in terms of personality and I dont think she has great chemistry with kevin.. Even Caroline that I didn't particularly care for and who I found boring had some dances that I really liked.

One of the best things about dance is that it's seen in many different ways. Hand on heart I didn't feel it as you did, but totally respect your opinion.

M,y personal opinion was that the judges comments for both Ore and Louise left no doubt that they were going to be overmarked for good but not outstanding dances.
IMHO they overmark Louise's technical excellence, but there is zero chemistry between her and Kevin, and she just doesn't connect with me via the camera - I find her a good technical dancer but boring as hell to watch. That complete lack of any WOW! factor in her dances will cost her, and I think it would be the same with any other partner - so it's not just Kevin...... I think there was a shock when Ore landed in the bottom 2 last week, and they have realised that without being top (or close to the top) of the leaderboard, his lack of public support won't keep him safe - hence bumping up his score this week to keep him out of the danger zone. Danny and Oti are deservedly at the top of the leaderboard, but I think that Claudia and AJ, and possibly even Rob and Oksana should be up there too! |

So am I - every dance she has done so far for me, have been incredibly dull + beige - her dance tonight should have been 3rd on the leaderboard with Claudia above her

Totally overmarked I actually like Louise but she really didn't have to do that much with the fab theme and music

Ooh, how exciting for you though, even if just a few seconds on screen. A TV star!
I agree with you regarding the trip to Paris. Probably not as enjoyable as it sounds at first. ![]() I am a non speaking guinea pig for Trust Me I am a Doctor. Have been before and if you had a telescope trained on your TV you may have just spotted me in the distance. However I do it because I am interested in the science (and because I am now on the list of "Mugs whose arm can be twisted" ) not because I fancy myself as a star!
