Stop forcing these guys onto us. Take away the visuals and performance, and you're left with average vocalists. That performance really didn't deserve that reaction. Uh.

I thought they were great - better than 1D and look how far they got!!!!

I thought they were really good and were more modern disco themed which were quite clever

They will win. There's little real talent left. Emily is too dull for mass votingand no one likes Saara. The rest are shite.

I think Saara is very talented, but I really like 5 after midnight too. They aren't the best singers, but the overall performance is good. Emily has got a better voice undoubtedly, but she's soooooooooo boring. I know who I'd prefer to go and see,

I really liked them, I didn't like them at first but they've completely changed my opinion of them.

They were great other than the vocals which were really poor until the backing singers kicked in!!!

I loved their first audition with the Drake track.
However, they have not delivered on their initial promise since live shows started.

Isn't this the key part though!? That's like saying someone on Bake Off was great except for at the baking part!!

The volume on the mics always seems to be low when they are on, wish I could hear them a bit more.

Judging from the first few lines when they could clearly be heard....you probably don't!!

Last week was the only week I've really enjoyed their performance, this week was back to very heavy backing track masking their poor vocals. Only one of them seems to be able to sing, especially when they're dancing.

Extremely mediocre.

One of them is hot though so I don't complain.

They show the odd spark every now and again (which is unusual for XF boybands) however most weeks they're too happy playing the Olly Murs role rather than be a boyband.

When assessing music, I hate the expression average

I is totally inappropriate

The other two are not though, their popularity baffles me.

It baffles me that people are complaining about 5AM when we have Honey G, Ryan and Sam on the show giving shockingly bad performances every single week. Emily is also extremely dull and hasn't done a single interesting performance in all the live shows so far and Matt is a decent singer but is obviously being pushed to win because he's a young, white male who for some reason people find attractive.

I mean, 5AM are the only act doing choreography and proper dance routines every week plus actually follow the rules and adapt to the themes that have been chosen. They actually shined in Motown and Disco week and they done their own version of the Girlband song last week.

Sure their harmonies aren't great (although they were exceptional singing R.Kelly at Judges Houses) and only Kieran can be counted on to deliver a flawless vocal but they're easily the most talented act in the show in my eyes?

I reckon 5am have this now. Emily's too boring and Matt has peaked too early. I don't get why people are starting to call him boring though. I just think vocally, he is not improving.. He will probably finish in 3rd place. Saara will be 2nd.

They're a JLS tribute act where the one playing Aston forgot to turn up.

And yet the rest of the acts this year are so poor, they're one of the better acts despite being rubbish

I loved them. Definitely the act I'd be most excited about post-XF. They smashed Motown, they smashed the Spice Girls and they smashed Disco. Their album would be GOOD.

I think they mimed most of that performance (or the backing singers sang most of it).

Perhaps he should spend more time with the vocal coaches and less moonlighting as an Amazon courier distributing Adele CDs.

They're the weakest boybland the show's ever had, and should've gone home weeks ago.

That's a ridiculous thing to say - fair enough if you're not a fan but are you really saying that the likes of Futureproof, Jedward, Nu Vibe and Stereo Kicks were better? I'm very rarely a boyband lover but this group has talent - they might vary in vocal talent but they can all sing. Also, I much prefer a boyband that can serve up up-tempos with big productions/choreography without just standing in one spot the whole time.
