I mean, 5AM are the only act doing choreography and proper dance routines every week plus actually follow the rules and adapt to the themes that have been chosen. They actually shined in Motown and Disco week and they done their own version of the Girlband song last week.

Sure their harmonies aren't great (although they were exceptional singing R.Kelly at Judges Houses) and only Kieran can be counted on to deliver a flawless vocal but they're easily the most talented act in the show in my eyes?”

BIB, Sam is a better vocalist than 5AM, and has a more interesting style of Music to go down, it might not be mainstream but there's actual talent there if guided properly that 5AM can't go down because they're not good enough.

And as for Ryan he is the most improved over the past couple of weeks, the show has finally found his sound imo which is more of a Pop Rock sound, his not revolutionary by any means, but he has been better than 5AM the past two weeks which for me personally has made me soften towards him as his actually improving and trying to get better, something that I've not seen from a massive underdog like him for a while.

Sam is a dreadful vocalist, she may be able to belt but she hasn't once sounded nice on a song.

They are among the most overrated acts by the judges (and probably the public as well) this year, also very mediocre.

Their performances are similar to Reggie and Bollie, the singing is dire but can put on a very good and entertaining performance.

They're pretty good at dancing and working the audience, but singing together needs serious work. Not good at singing together.

It's hard to critique their singing since they don't seem to bother doing any, they appear to leave all that malarky to their backing singers!

One of the most overrated acts in the shows history, their routine is about 25 years out of date

Completely agree they are so average don't get the hype at all with them, must be missing something but I just don't get them at all. Also as others have said every performance they have backing singers to do most of the singing, presumably to mask their own average vocals!

When I see them at the beginning of their routine I somehow think the are going to wow me with this one ...but they never do. Always astounded at the judges gushing for what is essentially a very mediocre and dull performance.

They are beyond awful but as they want a male winner a band will do , they are pretty much exempt from criticism

Also, I much prefer a boyband that can serve up up-tempos with big productions/choreography without just standing in one spot the whole time.”

Jedward aren't a boybland. The one with the extensive collection of ladies' jackets has a weak, shrill voice that's barely audible above the backing track for the mostpart. The one with the dead tarantula on his head can't manage more than a line in key. And the little chubby one simply cannot sing at all.
