The band and singers performed really well tonight

This evening I really enjoyed the music that supported all the perfomances (even the screwdriver soprano voice). The two guys who sang "Gangnam Style" in Korean were tops!! and I loved the guitar-playing. Dave Arch really knows where to source his musicians. Well done, those musicians, and many thanks to Tess who never fails to give the band its due.

I'm usually the first to praise the band, but "I heard it Through The Grapevine" sounded insipid with no bass line. It's Motown for cryin out loud.

They shouldn't have used it if the dance required that it was played like that.

I love them every week and this week they were as incredible as ever I find them better than the original artists most of the time

Sometimes they can be a bit ropey but tonight I thought that they were great. All genres done extremely well. I actually thought the Dee-Lite song (Groove Is In The Heart) was a proper remix when I wasn't paying attention.

Hear hear! I thought they were all exceptional tonight

But then, the music choices on the whole were much better IMHO all round tonight

I thought it was quite an interesting arrangement. If they had just ripped off the original, it would have been even worse for the AT.

Bass - not the fault of the band, blame the guy doing the sound for the transmission.

I remember a few series back when the singers were terrible, it's refreshing to see that this year they're top notch, some of the renditions have been fantastic.

I must be honest I often criticise the singers especially when I feel they have ruined a song I really love. Last night though they did an excellent job

Agree, didn't like the arrangement.

Terrible rendition of Toni Basil's 'Mickey' just now, by the way...
