You have Sam at 1 and Emily at 7

Their performances were both the same. Just different lyrics

Nonsense. Chewbacca, I mean Sam, did a slut drop. That's XF high artistry as exemplified by our current overlord, Louisa Thingamajig.

Saara and 5AM were vaguely entertaining, the rest were absolutely dire

Saara totally stole the show, everything from the singing, dancing and keeping to the theme.

Everyone one else was crap, no need to rank. The 2 girls were the worst, it's disco for god's sake!

Saara singing No More Tears will go down as one of the all time greatest X Factor performances. It's such a shame she isn't getting the votes as she's just head and shoulders above all of them talent wise.

I enjoyed Ryan more than I expected and Matt was good as always, don't know why the rest of them bothered turning up. Special mentions to Sam for taking an iconic gay anthem and making me want to slit my wrists with it, and 5am for not singing a single note after the first verse.

Not really as Sam sung her song well and actually conveyed atmosphere in her performance, whilst Emily struggled.

Atmosphere? How so?

Do you mean like how that break in her voice sounds a bit like the squeaking of the hanging bench in The Evil Dead that swings by itself? Or how sometimes when she bellows it's a bit like the sound of a distant ghost-ship's horn cutting through the lapping waves on an night-time beach scene shortly before the terrors emerge from the mist to rip the flesh from your bones?

Actually having an interesting Rock voice, something that she's having to try and restrain every week due to stupid song choices.

If The Voice had've had her she would've been marketed more like Cody Frost.

But yeah people honestly trying to say that Sam was worse or just as bad as Emily, Honey G, or 5AM are just picking on preference in Music rather than reality imo.

I bet it's Ryan and Emily in the bottom 2 , it's just got to happen .

Saara (miles better than the rest)
Honey G (she made me smile )
Matt
Ryan (I quite like him )
Sam (tbf I might be one of the only people that like her and I would rank her higher but it wasn't disco)
5AM (these are normally my favs but it was drowned out by backing track which was disappointing)
---------------------
Emily (just awful)

If the theme is a genre it should have the musical elements of that genre.

Saara Aalto - No More Tears (Enough is Enough). 7/10
Matt Terry - Best of My Love. 7/10
5 After Midnight - Boogie Wonderland. 6/10
Ryan Lawrie - Play That Funky Music 6/10
Sam Lavery - I Will Survive. 5/10
Honey G - Stayin’ Alive. 1/10
Emily Middlemas - Wishing on a Star. 5/10

I am amazed that Sam has got so far. She is always off key and out of tune. But this was one of her best vocals but the song was a disco classic that she still managed to ruin.

Ryan I think has improved in the last 4 weeks but has received more criticism. Clearly not a fave of the producers. Last night performance - the camera angles were awful - they barely showed him looking to the camer and connecting. But I thought he did a goodish job.

Emily - didn't sing a disco song, just a song around at the time of the era. And this was n opportunity to sing an upbeat number for once. Missed opportunity and missed the mark - vocals were very weak sounding.

Honey G - I get the fun entertainment factor but this was a tragic attempt.

Matt - best vocalists but the song was the wrong song choice and the verses were poorly sang.

5am - only one in the band can sing clearly.

Saara - sang disco. Sang well. Performance was disco. Her best vocal and performance to date.

What a terrible talent pool. There's bad and average at best.

Ranking:
Matt
Saara
Ryan
5AM
Sam
Emily
Honey G

13-11-2016
1. Saara Aalto (amazing, the best and in a different league to everyone else)
2. 5 After Midnight (These boys have really grown on me. Perfect choice of songs)
3. Matt Terry (I loved it. It isn't an easy song to sing but he did it justice from start to end)
4. Sam Lavery (her best performance to date. Could've been more disco-like though)
5. Honey G (entertaining and most certainly puts a smile on everyone's faces)
6. Emily Middlemas (a very disappointing vocal performance. Not her best at all)
7. Ryan Lawrie (diabolical and I don't get why he's still in the competition)
