Every act was mediocre for me and it's funny...when contestants were a bit repetitive in the past they were SLATED by the judges. This year we've got the most repetitive act EVER who can't sing and can't rap and they are being praised like the second coming.

I can only assume that Simon knows the show is dying on it's arse and just wants to make as much money from votes as possible, even if they are for a deluded fruitcake.
I like Disco as a genre (I probably am a bit strange for my age group in that sense) however I don't like the karaoke versions that get done on The X Factor very much, it's why I liked Sam's performance the best tonight, and it's why I liked Abi's performance in series 10 as they weren't doing poor imitations of the original version of the song that they was singing.

They had a lucky escape. Imagine being in the live finals of this parody of a show and being voted out whilst some talentless simpleton stays in. I'd be fuming.

You're probably right tbh. Imagine someone like Peyton or James or Nate delivering a flawless vocal in the sing off and the judges save Honey G who shouted her name 47 times instead

Ah OK. I find it difficult to discern. I just know it sounds awful.
I dunno how it compares to other series as I rarely watch past week 3 or at all. This is first series I've watched all the way through so it's got something to keep me watching. I think it's fine although the last 2 weeks a bit dull. Loved Fright Night. Not so much since.
