Claudia & AJ - AT, QS, Tango / Jive, Rumba, Salsa
Daisy & Aljaz - AS, AT, Foxtrot, Tango / Jive, Samba
Danny & Oti - AS, Tango, Waltz / Charleston, Salsa, Samba
Ed & Katya - AT, Foxtrot, Tango, VW / Jive, Rumba
Greg & Natalie - AT, Foxtrot, QS, Waltz / Charleston, Samba
Judge Rinder & Oksana - AT, Tango, Waltz / Rumba, Salsa, Samba
Louise & Kevin - QS, Tango, Waltz / Paso, Salsa, Samba
Ore & Joanne - AT, Foxtrot, QS, VW / Paso, Samba

Daisy, Greg and Ore should both have ballrooms this week as what's left is looking a little unbalanced. I'd say Ed should as well, but I strongly suspect he'll have the Jive for Blackpool.

Would love to see Claudia do a jive at Blackpool (fingers crossed she gets through this week). As for Ed, if he makes it I'd like to see him do a foxtrot.

Possible Danny and Oti Charleston .. I wouldn't really think it was his dance but I do think Oti know's what work's with them and they will nail it will be great for Blackpool

PLEASE let Danny & Oti get a samba (or at least a salsa). Fabulous for that proper ballroom floor they have at Blackpool. With authentic samba music - not some silly disco tune. Ooooohh makes me shiver just thinking about it

Some general thoughts on what's left...
Danny can do anything well and all the dances he has left are high-impact apart from the waltz, so he should be OK. Louise could potentially struggle with the salsa or samba but otherwise all fine. Rumba might be a bit of a stumbling block for Claudia performance-wise, but otherwise that looks to be pretty plain-sailing for her too; I'm sticking with those three as my picks for the final.

If Daisy survives this week, then the remaining latins or the AT could easily be her downfall, and foxtrot is never high impact. Rinder doesn't look like he has the most favourable lot of dances left either, and he will be in real trouble once Ed goes. Ed, for his part... is Ed.

Greg has something of a mixed bag left, but his ballrooms (bar AT) should be good and could give him a few more weeks. Ditto Ore.

With it being Blackpool they want dances which will cover the floor or where they'll be able to put on a show. I'd guess at:

Claudia and AJ: Jive
Daisy and Aljaz: American Smooth
Danny and Oti: Salsa
Ed and Katya: Tango
Greg and Natalie: Quickstep
Judge Rinder and Oksana: Samba
Louise and Kevin: Paso Doble
Ore and Joanne: Vienesse Waltz

Hoping for a Samba for Danny and Oti! (And appropriate music PLEASE)

Think it would work well at Blackpool.

If the last couple of weeks are anything to go by we should find out at least a couple tonight.

Ohhh for a grand, floor sweeping, traditional type AS for Blackpool please

I'm seriously worried about the props for this possible dance!

What tends to work best on the bigger stage, in people's opinion? I think of the Quickstep, paso, VW and maybe salsa being popular, but I also remember Simon doing a great AT, I think, which was really well lit so it wasn't lost in the space. I hope whatever dances they get, they won't get too many props and extra dancers.

Ore & Joanne - QS,

I think they will avoid Rumba and AT for Blackpool

One poor couple seem to draw a rumba at Blackpool every year. It's deemed the worst pick because it's a small dance on a large floor. Only three couples have rumba left and two are absolute favourites.

Edit - what I would like for each couple:
Claudia & AJ - Jive
Daisy & Aljaz - Tango
Danny & Oti - Salsa
Ed & Katya - VW
Greg & Natalie - Foxtrot
Judge Rinder & Oksana - Samba
Louise & Kevin - Paso
Ore & Joanne - QS

Generally yes, the floor travelling dances are better for Blackpool.
But having been lucky enough to see both Simon's AT and Jays Rumba in an arena, on tour, you're quite right that with the correct staging and lighting the more contained routines can be electric.

Ignoring the one that Chelsee Healey did in the final, the last Rumba at Blackpool was Phil Tufnell's. In 2009.
