Claudia and AJ dancing the jive to this.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NW7VnHnX3LQ Should be a winner. There'll be gymnastics. Toni Basil was 73 this year.

There are no lifts or gymnastics in a jive and she certainly wouldn't get good marks if he put them in. Better to save all that for a salsa. Having said that I reckon the jive could be as good a dance for her as the charleston |

Jive cannot have lifts so don't think we will see too much gymnastics

The "Rainbow Worrier" has been saving this one. This is "Strictly," there will be gymnastics. The only "lifts" in gymnastics, are to get the smaller girls up onto the lower of the two uneven bars at the commencement of their routine. |

I might be misremembering but didn't they ditch the lift rule last year due to the size of the ballroom? Or was that on Dancing With The Stars?
![]() Not sure Fudd, then again DWTS dont follow any rules do they

Based on what we know so far, Rob could be for the chop as the great man-cull begins. Salsa hasn't really done anyone any favours.

Oh of course.
Everything is a fix isn't it? Someone I don't like gets something good - Fix Someone I do like gets something not so good - Fix. Yeah yeah yeah, blah blah blah. The whole show is a conspiracy to generate all the outcomes that will most irritate me. Yeah right. |

But Rob can do lifts and his Latin technique will be much improved. Also he and Oksana have had good music, bar one dance, thus far and a good track with super lifts and Rob's exuberance will be good for him.

So annoyed at the lack of ballroom next week - that floor is perfect for a Quickstep or Viennese! And really surprised there won't be a single American Smooth in Blackpool this year! At this rate the last couple of weeks of the competition will be very ballroom-heavy...
I expect Greg will have Quickstep and Ore will have Viennese Waltz. |

Kevin and Louise have got the best draw there with Paso. If Joanne and Ore get a ballroom then that will give the anti Clifton brigade lots to moan about!

I agree. I think it's a shame when they dance charleston and salsa etc at blackpool when it's so entrenched in competitive latin and ballroom. Not a diss on those dances at all, I just think it makes it less special for the celeb.

I hope AJ restricts himself to his favoured type of jive he dances with Chloe.

I honestly wouldn't be surprised if they both did the quickstep. It uses the Blackpool floor size better than most dances do.

The judges and particularly the viewers may be "encouraged" to even it out a little over the next two weeks. |

I. Can see a man going next week - Claudia Is bound to wow with a Jive and Louise scores well after each dance so should both be top 2/3.
At Blackpool sometimes the weaker ones end up going - Russell Grant got shot out of a cannon and still went and Craig Kelly departed at Blackpool too |
